Welcome to 2022! ✨
A few housekeeping matters I’d like to address before Better Beauty reopens next week.

•You MUST have an appointment to enter the salon.
Even if you’re in need of a product, please contact me prior. All clients and customers are required to sign a digital COVID-19 waiver before entering the premises.

•I understand at this time, you may need to cancel or reschedule your appointment if you are unwell (not just with COVID-19, colds and flus are never permitted in salon) or are a close contact.
I please ask for as much notice as possible when rescheduling. You will not be charged any cancellation fee if unwell or a close contact.
However, if you fail to arrive at your appointment, with no communication prior to your booking, you will be charged full service price.
Failure of payment (which can be done over the phone or direct debit) will disable your ability to book future appointments.

•During the school holidays, I will only be available limited hours. The days I will currently be in salon* are as follows.
January:
Tuesday 11th, Thursday 13th, Friday 14th,
Tuesday 18th, Thursday 20th,
Thursday 27th, Friday 28th.
February:
Tuesday 1st, Thursday 3rd,
Wednesday 9th, Thursday 10th, Friday 11th.

*Days in salon are subject to change. If multiple cancellations for one particular day occur, I may not open, and may open an additional day the following week. This also applies for when school is back. If I have no bookings I will not be in salon. I may contact you to see if you are available a different time and day if this happens.

My schedule for the weeks and potentially months ahead are already being impacted with positive cases and close contacts. No clients means no income.
We’ve seen many local businesses this past week with staff shortages and lack of turnover for it to be viable to trade, many are temporarily closed or taking a hit with restricted trading hours. While we’re all in different boats we are facing the same storm.
As a sole trader, if I become a close contact or fall unwell, I too will be closed for a period of time without income.

Due to this, it is important not only for your own health, but mine and my clients that all current guidelines I am implementing within my business are strictly adhered to.
I will not be making exceptions if you have a sniffle or sore throat and have tested negative to COVID-19. You potentially still have a contagious viral infection that may infect me or others.

I greatly appreciate your cooperation and understanding, and am looking forward to another year filled with fun nails and relaxing facials for you all! 🤍
