A teacher was marking her class papers one evening when she suddenly began crying. Her husband asked what was wrong and she told him about an assignment she gave her class. They we’re required to answer the question, “If I could be anything in the world, I’d be…”

“If I could be anything in the world, I’d be A SMART PHONE, because I know how much my parents love theirs.
They care so much about their smart phone that sometimes they forget about me…
When dad comes home from work, he has time for his smart phone but not for me…
When mum’s phone beeps, she always stops and looks at it, even when she’s doing something with me…
When they talk to someone on their phone, they just seem far away. If what I need is important they never listen to me…
They check Facebook, Snapchat, and TikTok and play games on their phone, but not with me…
They hold their phone more than they hold me…
After hearing this, her husband became emotional and asked, “Which one of the students wrote it?” She replies, “Ours…”
