Some amazing work coming out of the Central Coast region! Thank you Cheryl Fuller Mayor Central Coast Council for initiating these activities, and we look forward to continuing to work with Central Coast Council!
The Central Coast Council is Tasmania’s first local government member of the Tasmanian Mental Health Council 😊
On Wednesday 26 June 2024, the Tasmanian Mental Health Council met for its June meeting in Ulverstone. Mayor Fuller attended the meeting and presented the group with the Terms of Reference for our proposed Central Coast Mental Health Alliance (CCMHA) 🤝
Soon after being elected, Cheryl Fuller Mayor Central Coast Council initiated a series of roundtables with various stakeholders, community groups and members. This uncovered a vast range of issues and opportunities, including the need for an alliance in the mental health space.
We want to take the chance to remind those who are struggling that there are support services out there. If you are in need of support, please contact Lifeline Tasmania on 13 11 14.

❤️Take a minute is designed to empower Tasmanians to take charge of their mental health and wellbeing.
We often think ‘mental health’ is about recognising when things aren’t going well, and how to respond when that happens.
🧰Take a minute flips the script. It gives us the tools to prevent us from becoming unwell in the first place.
