This serves as a great reminder about where to direct our attention. Speaking from my own experience, I have found myself caring too much about the areas shaded in grey. However, its important to focus on what really matters and not let ourselves get caught up in things that aren’t significant. Lets keep our attention on what truly brings value and meaning to our lives.

Want to add some fun and positivity to your workday? Check out these simple gratitude activities that can help boost morale and create a more supportive work environment!

First up, we have the Gratitude Jar - a fun way to share positive vibes with your colleagues. Just grab a jar and some paper and encourage everyone to write down something they're grateful for each day. Then, at the end of the week, read the notes together and soak up all the good feels!

Next, we have Thank-You Notes - a sweet and simple way to show your appreciation for a colleague who's helped you out or made your day better. Just jot down a quick note expressing your gratitude and watch the good karma roll in.

Looking to end a meeting on a high note? Try the Appreciation Circle - take turns sharing something positive that happened during the day or week. You'll leave feeling inspired and motivated!

Feeling extra lovey-dovey? Create a Compliment Wall where colleagues can leave messages of appreciation and recognition. It could be a bulletin board or a digital space, and it's sure to bring a smile to everyone's face!

Finally, get outside and take a Gratitude Walk with a colleague. Take a few minutes to chat about what you're grateful for and enjoy the fresh air and exercise.

So there you have it - some fun and easy gratitude activities to add a little joy to your workday. Remember, expressing gratitude can have a big impact on creating a positive work environment, and it doesn't have to be complicated or time-consuming. Let's spread some good vibes! 🤩

What are habits and how can we make and break them?

Habits are behaviors that we repeat regularly, often unconsciously. They can be both positive and negative, and they can have a significant impact on our health and well-being.

Here are some key aspects of habits:

Formation: Habits are formed through repetition and reinforcement. When we repeatedly engage in a behavior, it becomes automatic and requires less conscious effort.

Cue, Routine, Reward: Habits are often triggered by a cue, which is followed by a routine or behavior, and then a reward. For example, a cue might be feeling stressed, the routine might be eating junk food, and the reward might be feeling temporarily comforted. Understanding this pattern can be helpful in breaking negative habits and creating positive ones.

Breaking negative habits: Breaking negative habits can be challenging, but it is possible with the right strategies. One effective approach is to identify the cue and replace the negative behavior with a positive one. For example, if stress is the cue for eating junk food, the positive replacement behavior might be taking a short walk or doing a few minutes of deep breathing.

Creating positive habits: Creating positive habits involves setting clear goals and establishing a plan for achieving them. It's also important to start small and build momentum gradually so that the habit becomes automatic over time.

Importance of habits: Habits play a significant role in our overall health and well-being. Positive habits, such as regular exercise, healthy eating, and getting enough sleep, can help prevent chronic diseases, improve mood and cognitive function, and increase longevity.

In summary, habits are behaviors that we repeat regularly, and they can have a significant impact on our health and well-being. Understanding how habits are formed and broken can help us create positive habits and break negative ones, leading to a healthier and happier life.

Fun at work can be a great way to boost morale, increase productivity, and create a more positive work environment. Here are some ideas for incorporating fun into your workday:

Celebrate milestones: Whether it's a birthday, work anniversary, or hitting a major goal, take the time to celebrate these achievements with your coworkers.

Organise team building activities: Plan activities like team lunches, after-work happy hours, or one of our fun Play & Learn Workshops.

Create a fun work environment: Personalise your workspace with decorations, plants, and fun accessories like stress balls or fidget toys.

Have a joke or meme of the day: Share a funny joke or meme with your coworkers to start the day off on a lighthearted note.

Play games: Set up a game corner with board games, card games, or even video games where coworkers can take a break and unwind.

Take breaks: Encourage everyone to take short breaks throughout the day to stretch, chat, or grab a snack.

Remember, having fun at work doesn't mean shirking responsibilities or being unprofessional. It's about finding ways to make the workday more enjoyable and creating a positive work environment.

WHY most employees aren’t productive and non-performing?

In Japan, napping at work is generally accepted and is considered a sign of working hard. This practice is known as "inemuri" and is seen as a way to recharge during the workday.

Having a tidy desk and a foldable chair/bed make a work day much more exciting.

Napping is important because it helps to improve mood, alertness, and cognitive function. It also provides a quick burst of energy and helps to reduce feelings of fatigue and stress. Napping can also increase productivity and improve overall physical and mental health.

It made a world of difference when you return home.

Being busy doesn’t always mean productive.
