👣 Dry Needling is a treatment where fine needles are used to reduce pain through the stimulation of myofascial trigger points. These trigger points can be very painful when palpated and can refer pain to other regions of the body
👣 Dry Needling is similar to acupuncture, however, it follows different theories from the traditional Chinese medicine. Dry needling at trigger points has been shown to stimulate a response from the nerves which allows the muscle to relax and result in reduced pain
👣 By reducing trigger points, individuals are often able to perform movements more efficiently and with reduced pain, facilitating better and more functional rehabilitation

Extracorporeal shock wave therapy (ESWT), also commonly known as Shockwave Therapy is a non-invasive, non-surgical treatment. It provides treatment to patients suffering from a variety of chronic conditions such as Plantar Fasciitis and Achilles Tendinopathy, both of which can be notoriously difficult to resolve. It is often effective even where previous conservative management has failed.
Shockwave Therapy uses high-pressured acoustic shockwaves that travel through the skin from a special handpiece with the aim of reducing pain and stimulating a healing response. Shockwave Therapy essentially kick-starts the body’s reparative process and causes a reduction of pain felt by nerve fibres, an increase of blood circulation in surrounding soft tissue, as well as begins the healing process

The netball season is underway, which means that if you haven’t already, it’s time to update your netball shoes! It can often be quite overwhelming when purchasing your new netball shoes for the year due to the different types available, so we’ve compiled a list of our top picks for 2024!
👟Netburner Ballistic FF3
- All rounder netball shoe that provides responsive cushioning and faster acceleration to bring control to your game. Improved stability when pivoting and twisting, with a higher heel drop that reduces stress on the lower limb. Also available in a Mid Top (higher ankle support)
👟Netburner Shield
- Ultimate support, improves stability during side to side movements and abrupt shifts in direction. Suitable for players looking to move with freedom, while feeling additional support and protection. Reduces load on the knees during dynamic movements.
- Not suitable for those with orthotics due to both the medial and lateral ankle support
👟Netburner Professional FF4
- Those that prefer the feel of a running shoe when playing netball, very lightweight, offers good flexibility on the court for faster transitions and smooth movements
- Improved midfoot support for better stability during quick movements
👟Mizuno Wave Stealth Neo
- Offers high degrees of stability and amazing cushioning for maximum performance. Creates high energy return to help you jump higher and be more agile throughout the game
👟Mizuno Wave Luminous 2
