This one started with a phone call from my sister if I had any drawers for her art room, sent her a pic and it what she was after, with much debate she got her way and I had to paint my arch nemesis white 🤦🏻‍♀️ I pulled it all apart and sanded everything back to bare then it was primed with a shellac undercoat and painted a soft white (DuluxWhitsunday island) whitewashed and varnished the rest. I think it turned out well and she is so delighted that it was “too good for the art room” so guess I am back looking for more drawers for the actual art room lol

I love seeing my pieces styled in their new homes it makes me so happy to to see how much Karen Manuel loves her cabinet

Out with the dated red and in with this deep dark moody blue to complement the botanical inspired wallpaper detail. Inside it has a vibrant pop of yellow and the top is stained a deep walnut and finished with a hard wax floor oil for a durable finish. This side table would make a great stand for a record player with storage for those precious vinyls

This old boy was looking worse for wear and really needed a bit of an overhaul. I sanded this piece all the way back to bare timber so I could start totally fresh, the exterior was painted a sophisticated dark blue while the timber was coated with 4 layers of hard wax floor oil the finished with 2 hand burnished coats of Scandinavian oil then buffed to stunning elegant finish. Soon as you open the doors you are treated to an exciting pop of colour with this cheerful mustard yellow and quirky imported wallpaper this piece has definitely transformed into a dapper gent and is ready for another life

I made a custom green paint up and painted the whole piece, I then applied some beautiful wallpaper to the the top and sides and clear coated everything, the drawers were sanded back varnished and waxed. I think this piece has come a treat 🦜 Definitely a statement piece for sure

The soft green shade Evonne from , paired with a whitewashed top and complemented by gold hardware, creates a serene ambiance perfect for any bedroom seeking a tranquil feel.

These tables took way longer than they should have 🤦🏻‍♀️ but after stopping and starting so many times because you know life, they are finally done Woo hoo. I really like the soft sage green teamed with a whitewash top and a hint of gold in the hardware I also added some news legs to give them some height

A quick little fresh refresh on this Antique Silky Oak Dresser for a special young lady who wanted to keep the the character and aged look with a touch of dark green

I mixed up a custom colour green using porters paints and also a custom pink also using porters paint to do this cute little dresser for my granddaughter. I got this dresser from dear friends it was their parents from the 50’s she is now ready for her next chapter

This Cabinet was a calibration with JD's BEACH Designs painted in a custom deep blue matched from the stunning waves on top we dubbed this colour ”Deep Abyss” This stunner is for sale pm either myself or Julie Davidson for more details

Who would of thought this little gem was hidden under all that paint, After sooo much sanding This beautiful timber was revealed so it was just a very light stain and varnish to enhance the natural beauty. I then painted out the panels in a beautiful riverbank green and a change of handle topped her off

Transformed this old dated pine tv cabinet into a fresh and modern classic white console with a new set of legs. She looks great in Rene N Carol Rientsma updated lounge room I can’t wait to see her styled

Had a fantastic visit this morning with ever wonderful Creep Designs man I love talking paint with someone as passionate as me lol We did a little paint swap so we can try new paints I can’t wait to try these little beauties out

So when your when your in spotlight with your soul sister and find this amazing fabric and she also mentions she needs a chair the lights go off I my little brain this is the result I love how this one turned out. After much deliberation (at least 5mins lol) I painted the chair with Flip Style Disco this chair definitely makes me smile I am glad you love it Ange!

I can’t believe this beautiful timber was hidden under so much dark varnish/shellac the veneer was quite damaged on the sides so after repairing and filling, sanding (oh so much sanding😝) I used a beautiful paintable wallpaper that I ordered especially for this beauty. The drawers were sanded and finished with so many layers of hardwax and buffed between each coat to really let the timber’s natural beauty shine. I chose a rich deep navy blue (Pacific from Flip Style) to finish this little dresser off, She was then accessorised with some stunning gold hexagon drawer pulls. This perfectly imperfect stunner has definitely got a new modern look

The old boy has found his way to his new home this piece will hold special place in my heart still a favourite of mine 😊

Silky oak is a definite favourite of mine sanded back and coated with an oil based varnish to enhance the natural beauty of this stunning timber. I then teamed it with the ever beautiful rich banksia green, drawers refreshed inside with a scented wax. If you are interested in this piece she is for sale $250

So much sanding with this vintage coffee table, I fell in love with art deco cut out and the grain of this stunning silky oak legs. I sanding it all back and nourished the dry silky oak with a combination of a black and clear waxes to highlight the beautiful grain, the top is a combination of using a stain wash first and finished with first a black hard wax, then a brown floor wax to her a dark and moody vibe.
