Hey guys, we’re excited to announce that we’re almost able to share our new cafe & eatery with you guys. Having taken over Morris Leigh Cafe, we know we have big shoes to fill and a very supportive community behind us already.

We are calling on our community to help us keep the standards high by hiring the right people.

To our amazing Morris Leigh family, we have made the decision to close our doors after this weekend.

We have built an incredible community and we’re content that now is the perfect time for us to find and choose the right person to take it off our hands before summer. Giving us the chance to have a well deserved break which were really excited about!

We are so proud of what we’ve achieved over the past 4.5 years! From renovating and bringing a new brand to Aspendale, surviving COVID whilst keeping all our staff employed and building such a perfect little Morris Leigh community.

Thank you to all our loyal customers, we’ve loved every single minute of it and been so grateful you brought us into your families which we’ve all seen grow together.

To our amazing team past and now, thank you for your ongoing commitment, we can’t wait to help your grow and further your careers in our community. We love that since day one you’ve been so motivated to inspire everyone with our famous coffee lid-inspo!

We hope to see you all over the weekend before we close this chapter and you see a new journey for Morris Leigh xx

Trading update! Tomorrow, Monday, take away coffee only 8am-11am.
We’re going to miss our amazing chef, Hardik! For those of you that don’t know, over the last 6 months his wife & two young daughters have been back home in India due to Visas. Hardik finally got his approved last week so will be flying straight home to be with his family for a well deserved couple of months. Big thank you for all his hard work!
So you’ll see Matt back in the kitchen more often. There will be some days when we will have to close the kitchen to give him some time off, we also have some staff back at uni too. But we will be looking after your caffeine fix & will do take away coffee those days.
