Did you know Cortisol is a steroid hormone produced by the adrenal glands in response to stress. It plays a crucial role in regulating various physiological processes, including metabolism, immune function, and the body's response to stress. When stress is chronic or excessive, cortisol levels can become dysregulated, leading to a range of negative health effects such as impaired immune function, disrupted sleep, weight gain, and increased risk of cardiovascular disease.
Through tools such as hypnosis, meditation, and mindfulness can help regulate cortisol levels and mitigate the negative effects of chronic stress in several ways. Stress reduction, improved sleep, enhanced emotional regulation, the mind body connection and promotion of wellbeing.

On the Easter long weekend, we went camping in a place I have been drawn to visiting again for a long time. This is the area in Tasmania where my indigenous tribe originated from. I have been very drawn to this part of my identity from a young age but leaning into it more so recently. I felt so much connection, peace and grounding here 🙌
This reflects a profound connection to my cultural heritage and ancestral roots. There is real significance in following your intuition and honoring your inner guidance. It serves as a reminder that sometimes, the places or experiences we feel drawn to hold unique meaning for us, even if we may not fully understand why 🤍
To solve a problem effectively and at a root cause level, we must approach it from a different perspective or level of awareness than the one that created it initially. We can do this by accessing our subconscious mind, where can change some of our physical results and behaviours through belief change, hypnosis, meditation, affirmations and time line therapy.

It often occurs when someone feels overwhelmed, emotionally drained, and unable to meet constant demands.

A journey worth sharing 🧡
A powerful method Mindset Coaches can use to access and treat the subconscious mind is Hypnosis. It is a state of focused attention, heightened suggestibility, and deep relaxation. During hypnosis, a trained practitioner, guides an individual into this state using relaxation techniques and verbal cues. While in this state, the individual becomes more receptive to suggestions, allowing them to explore and address subconscious thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors.
Contrary to popular misconceptions, hypnosis is not a form of mind control, and individuals cannot be made to do anything against their will while in hypnosis. Instead, it is a collaborative process between the individual and the hypnotherapist, with the individual maintaining control and awareness throughout the session.
Hypnosis can be used for various purposes, including:
Behaviour change (such as quitting smoking, losing weight, addictions)
Overcoming limiting beliefs
Fears and phobias
Stress reduction
Pain management
Sleep issues
Anxiety
Enhancing performance.

It involves recognising and acknowledging the positive aspects of ones life, expressing appreciation for them, and feeling a sense of contentment and goodwill towards others as a result ✨
It is beneficial as it is associated with increased happiness, resilience and overall-wellbeing.
We can practice gratitude by cultivating a mindset of appreciation and thankfulness. Some ways to do this are:

Mindfulness has many different definitions but put simply means 'living in the present moment'. Essentially, it means intentionally being more aware and awake to each moment and being fully engaged in what is happening in one's surroundings – with acceptance and without judgement.
Peer reviewed research suggests that focusing on the present can have a positive impact on health and well-being. Mindfulness-based treatments have been shown to reduce anxiety and depression. There's also evidence that mindfulness can lower blood pressure and improve sleep. It may even help people cope with pain.

I’ve been a bit MIA on the social front as I have been trying to be as present as possible with the kids on holidays! 🧡
Whilst I LOVE face to face consults with clients I have been grateful to be able to facilitate sessions via Zoom. This allows people to maintain traction and progress even if they are away, out of routine or not able to get to sessions 🙌🏻
I used to struggle with what I would say is a “people pleasing paradigm” where I put everyone else first. Since creating boundaries and creating a life by design approach my whole outer world has changed in a way I didn’t think was possible 🥹
If you want to change your results we need to look at unconscious patterning, limiting beliefs and mindset in order to get a different outcome. Working with me we can achieve this and more 😉
