This Thursday the 1st of August, our Silo Hair team will be wearing our pjs to raise awareness and donations to provide crucial support for kids in foster care.

Foster children often face instability, moving between homes and schools, which disrupts their education and hampers their ability to thrive.

Without support, these kids risk falling behind in school, developing mental health issues, facing future unemployment, and making poor life choices.

By contributing, you will help The Pyjama Foundation recruit, screen, train, and match a “Pyjama Angel” mentor with a child in care. These mentors read books, play educational games, assist with homework, and more. Most importantly, they empower foster kids with learning, life skills, and confidence.

I have been back in the salon this week after my Christmas break, and coming into 2024 with a mindset to learn more and work on my colouring skills and all things hair.
