Every year on 3 December, people around the world take part in International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD). It's a day to celebrate the contributions and achievements of people with disability and promote awareness, understanding and acceptance in our community.
This year's theme is to disability and celebrate people and their stories and that's precisely what is all about.
By listening to the experiences of people with disability and recognising their unique talents, skills and interests, we can challenge our own perceptions about disability and make positive changes in the community.
