I totally get it, but try not to stress. Let me share my story…

Back in 2007 when my youngest daughter was diagnosed with a brain tumour, I desperately looked online for a way to work from home to pay for expensive overseas surgery to help her live a pain free life!

I tried selling things through party plan.
I tried doing surveys and data entry but there simply were not enough hours in the day to do enough, to generate the kind of income we needed to pay for her surgery!

I felt like I was working myself into an early grave with the hours I worked, for earning such a tiny income.

Tears came daily due to the GUILT I felt for not being available to attend my five kids, school field trips, take them to their dance classes or attend their soccer practices.

I felt STRESSED knowing that I’d have to prepare dinner, help them with homework, start their bedtime routine and then worry about getting enough sleep to function the following day.

I used to think there would be NO way possible that I could change my situation until one day my friend Lauren said, “I think I may have a solution, take a look.”

I thought, “Hmm, what do I have to lose? What if I succeeded?”

I went all in and within a couple of months I was able to start turning things around. I felt such hope and was so proud of myself.
That was 16 years ago.

It's ok to say no to an opportunity or offer of help.. I get it..

Saying no just means I am scared. We all are, when faced with things just out of our perceived comfort levels.

Hi it's Lynda here and I just wanted to share my story with you...

I am 46 and so close to being financially free.
For a long time I thought getting this far was a pipe dream.

15+ years ago we were miles away from being able to make ends meet with 5 kids, all with longterm medical issues, a mortgage and disasters for motor vehicles. It felt like we were going backwards and sinking further into debt.

We worked our butts off earning any extra income we could to pay the bills and put food on the table and then we worked harder to keep it that way.

All this was done around medical appointments, home schooling, housework, extra studies. It wasn't easy and it wasnt a get rich quick thing you often see advertised on social media.. it took bloody hard work.

My entire family sacrificed time together so that we could eventually break free of the crippling debt we were in but mostly I remember going that extra mile and doing more and more each day.

I sacrificed things like having a second car in the family.
I gave up watching T.V.- the Kardashians can wait!
I worked through cancer treatments more times than we had family holidays.
I worked when I was sick.
I worked when it was so hot you could fry an egg on the pavement in seconds.
I worked in the carpark of the children's hospital while my daughter had brain surgery.
Sleeping could wait.
My family needed me to step up and make it happen.

What ever it took, I did it. I don't regret the sacrifices one little bit!

My Home Shopping Club is just one of the tools I used to get there and I am ever so grateful my friends Lauren McCoy, Jenny Lindskog and Gwen Downs who reached out to me and showed me what was possible.

I am even more grateful to Liza Kauk Blanc and Gwen Downs who are still working right beside me every step of the way

Welcome to 2023!
It has been a while since I popped up anew post, mostly because I have taken the time to focus on my health and wellness.

As the new year has begun and I am once again able to work towards my goals and dreams, I am spending more time to focus on what matters the most - am that is spending more time with my fabulous family and friends.
