Founder, Nicole is a National Pilates Trained instructor who has worked in the Pilates industry for over 10 years. Drawn into the world of pilates after a running injury and Nicole soon realised its restorative and strengthening benefits. Since then, she has learnt that pilates is much more than a rehabilitation measure, it also encourages better body tone and inner strength as well as wellness of body and mind!

✨Day 4, 6, & 7 of MarchMATness - Rolling like a ball, Single Leg Stretch & Double Leg Stretch
⚡Rolling Like a Ball: we like to call this hedgehog mode 🦔
Sitting on the mat with your knees hugged into your chest, and arms wrapped around your shins, rolling backward and forward. This movement stimulates the spine, deeply works the abdominals, and tunes us into the inner flow of movement and breath in the body.
⚡⚡Single Leg Stretch: Lying on your back with your knees hugged into your chest. Extend one leg straight while keeping the other knee pulled towards your chest. Transverse Abdominal heaven
Double Leg Stretch: An upgrade on Single Leg Stretch. Lie on your back with your knees hugged into your chest. Extend both legs straight while reaching your arms overhead. Circle your arms around to hug your knees back into your chest.

✨Day 2, 3 & 4 of MarchMATness - Roll up, Roll over and Leg circles ✨
Roll up is a great challenge for the abdominal muscles as you roll yourself up from lying to sitting.
Roll over is the upgrade from Roll up. Stretching the back and hamstrings while working the abdominal muscles. Think deep abs and spinal flexibility.
Leg circles freely moves the leg around in a circle while maintaining core stability. Fun times for the glute

✨Day 1 of MarchMATness - The Hundred✨
The Hundred is a classic Pilates mat exercise. The OG! The exercise is named after the 100 beats of your arms and 100 breaths!
So how do we do the Hundred?
Lie on your back with your legs extended ( or at tabletop position) and arms extended by your sides. Lift your head, neck, and shoulders off the mat, and pump your arms up and down while inhaling for five counts and exhaling for five counts.
Joseph Pilates introduced the hundred as the first exercise of the network series in his book "Return to Life Through Contrology." 🌿
