It's crucial to understand how your skins health (sun damage, thick skin, pigmentation, large pores) and pre-care and after-care will impact how your skin takes the pigments, so for the best results, please follow all pre care and after care instructions, they are simply to follow and you will get the best out it if you do 🤍

As we age the we loose colour in the boarder of our lips to skin blanching and going skin colour. We can’t tattoo onto the skin past the lip line, but adding these few millimeters back on can make such a big difference. 😊🫶🏻

This amazing lady came to me last year wanting some new brows, unfortunately with the old brows she had done a few years prior from another cosmetic tattooist it couldn’t be done. I told her im not comfortable to go over them and she would have to get removal then we can start fresh. This is the best solution to alot of old brows if they haven’t faded enough for a new shape.

Colour straight after tattooing will always look darker and even “warm” in colour sometimes. This fades heaps over the next week about 50%.

I have a few new services I have added, so today I’ll talk to you about one of them which is Dermaplaning! If you know much about skin, and have heard about this you will know how amazing it will make your skin look and feel.

✨Dermaplaning can help reduce the appearance of acne scars, uneven skin tone, wrinkles and many other skin imperfections by revealing newer, fresh undamaged skin.

I use a special instrument to remove hair and dead skin cells. The tool looks a bit like surgical scalpel. It has a small blade that I move back and forth across your skin. It doesn't make cuts in your skin, but gently shaves off all those fluffy hairs, and the top layer of skin for a deep exfoliation that leaves the skin supple, fresh, rejuvenated baby soft skin... I then put serums on which your skin will soak up all that goodness , followed by a scalp face massage. Dermaplaning is perfect for an amazing canvas for make up or just fresh faced.

A few brow facts
•Brows will be 40%-60% lighter once healed.
•Brows will go through different healing stages, they can go patchy in this time but after 7 days you can fill them in if needed.
•A touchup is required 6 to 8 weeks after the first session.
•Ombre and powder brows can last 3 to 5 years (depending on colour) in total if left to fade out. And longer with annual/18 month touchups.
•Results very dependent on skin sensitivity, skin texture, diligence of after-care and medication.

This beautiful client came for her annual refresh after 19 months. How great did they still looked 🥰 We just needed to add abit of colour to top then back up.

Brows are low maintenance not no maintenance.
Most clients should get an annual touch up every 1-2 years to stop fading and keep them looking great.
So once they fade about 50% that’s when it’s time for a colour refresh.

Some clients can go alot longer, but you don’t want them to fade to far out where we have to redo them all again. In total (without annual touch ups) they will keep fading out lighter over 3-5 years.

Everyones colour retention is different depending on your skin health, lifestyle, skin type what you put in your skin and following your after care.
When you follow the simple steps we put in place you’ll get the best out of your new brows.

🤍If you have had previous work done elsewhere especially microblading, I will need to see them before you book your appointment to make sure they are suitable to go over.

I do get asked this, but it is not like a permanent body tattoo so we definitely don’t shave your eyebrow off 😂
We do of course tidy them up and take of those stray hairs if need be.
