Feel like we made some great progress today at The Department of Veteran Affairs seeking them to compensate natural medications for PTSD. Had the pleasure of being alongside the living legends Derek and Frosty plus little Missy who’s always great support. Get behind their campaign!!

This week is Medicinal Cannabis Awareness Week and is about awareness around this amazing plant. If you are a person who is using cannabis then we ask for you to share your experience with family, friends and colleagues whether they may be good or bad. It’s just about raising awareness. No need to hide it anymore. 💪🏽👊🤙

Word 👊. I’ve come up with saying; “you can’t judge a song on one verse”. Meaning you can’t judge someone if you don’t know their story. I’ll admit I’m Bert’s quick to judge people on how they look but I’ve been quick to learn that some of the people I judged the hardest are some of the most beautiful souls I’ve met.

Presenting to the senate today on concussion and repeated head trauma in contact sports. I’m asking for funding to conduct the worlds biggest and best study into the benefits of cannabis with concussion. Game on!

Cleared out the cobwebs and had a serious stomp at on the weekend 🕺🏽. Great to connect with some amazing people. I also put on a workshop about the bodies endocannabinoid system and how plant medicine interacts. Thanks to for being my wingman and taking some quality pics. .

●Jose Romero is best known for his 15 years playing ‘footy’ for the Victorian AFL team Western Bulldogs. He later became part of the coaching staff and then Director of the board before moving into the construction field. During his time as a footy player he was awarded life membership of the Western Bulldogs for outstanding services. He was also ambassador for AFL against racism. He is currently focused on growing his business and providing the best opportunities for his family. He is also a father of three talented kids.

●Paul Spargo a prevelent name in the AFL world and in Aussie homes. 90 games, 118 goals for 2 Afl teams, then coming back to coach. Who could forget Paul Spargo was the first man to coach five O&MFL premiership teams, 3 of those consecutive.

“From 1 July this year, medicines containing the psychedelic substances psilocybin and M**A (3,4-methylenedioxy-methamphetamine) can be prescribed by specifically authorised psychiatrists for the treatment of certain mental health conditions. The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) will permit the prescribing of M**A for the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder and psilocybin for treatment-resistant depression.

The decision acknowledges the current lack of options for patients with specific treatment-resistant mental illnesses. It means that psilocybin and M**A can be used therapeutically in a controlled medical setting. However, patients may be vulnerable during psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, requiring controls to protect these patients. Prescribing will be limited to psychiatrists, given their specialised qualifications and expertise to diagnose and treat patients with serious mental health conditions, with therapies that are not yet well established. The Authorised Prescriber Scheme allows prescribing permissions to be granted under strict controls that ensure the safety of patients.”
