The Medical Receptionist is often the first point of contact and is " the face" of the medical Centre.
The Receptionist is responsible for providing high level administrative support to the Doctors, Nurses and Allied Health Professionals within our practice.
The successful applicant will posses exceptional customer service skills, be able to follow direction, have the ability to multi-task, high attention to detail and to be able to work autonomously and as part of a team.

As a practice nurse, you will be supporting the GPs with chronic disease management, wound care, preparing GPMPs/TCAs, providing immunisations and injections and assisting the doctors with various procedures. The practice nurse will also do recalls, ensure stock is up to date and in sufficient supply and will order vaccines as and when needed amongst other vital roles in the upkeep of a GP clinic.

Essential selection criteria:

As a Registered/Enrolled Nurse, you must have clear written and verbal communication, a valid Working With Children Check and National Police Check, have CPR Training, be an Australian resident, have previous experience working with people of all ages, have experience in treating a range of patient presentations and demographics and have exceptional time management and organisation skills.

Desirable selection criteria:

Completion of all COVID-19 Training Modules including Vaccine Modules, Hand Hygiene Modules A Nurse Immuniser would be desirable.

Description of practice/facilities:

We are a bulk-billing clinic located close to the heart of Cranbourne, with easy accessibility and plenty of onsite parking. Our current opening hours are Monday-Friday 9:00am-6:00pm and potential weekends 9am-1pm. We have 9 consulting rooms, 3 doctors and a pathology nurse. We refer to our onsite physiotherapy, podiatry, massage therapist and dietitian.

Dr. Hameedullah has worked at various hospitals and clinics across Australia over the last 12 years. He has gained a wealth of knowledge and is always keen to meet new patients from all age groups.

Dr. Hameedullah has a clinical interest in chronic disease management, mental health, diabetes, geriatric medicine, minor surgical procedures, men’s health, children’s and adolescent's health.

He speaks fluent English, Pashto, Urdu and Hindi.

He will be here on Tuesday and Thursday!

Stetho Health Cranbourne has been approved to administer the COVID-19 vaccine to eligible patients when they become available.

The expected roll out for the vaccine is mid March.

Phase 1B is the first rollout for clinics and those eligible are listed below:

• Adults aged 70 years and over
• Health care workers
• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people > 55 years old
• Adults under 70 with an underlying medical condition or disability
• Critical and high risk workers including defence, police, fire, emergency services and meat processing
