My confidence shifted once I realised 3 things!

🧡 You’re the only one judging you- no one really cares. & if they do, that’s their problem.
Whatever I wear, if I wear makeup if I get lip filler, a b**b enhancement. WHATEVER! It’s for YOU! No one else!! You look great when you feel the most confident.

🧡 My struggles bring me strength, understanding & experience. I can give my clients a unique perspective on life and how to deal with the tough s**t. - my biggest strength.

🧡 Do whatever the f**k you want! You regret the decision, great! You know next time. It’s all a lesson! We need to fail 1000 times before we find complete success.
Say no, say yes! There is NO RIGJT ANSWER!

💡Save so you can come back later 🍂

1. Inner child visualisations - with your eyes closed, take deep breaths & visualise yourself as a child. Imagine sitting with your younger self and having a conversation. Listen to their needs and emotions, they might pinpoint past wounds or challenges that need attention & to be healed.

2. Journaling - instead of scrolling before bed, take this time to journal. Explore your inner child’s experiences. What felt relevant to what they felt. Give your inner child a voice & allow any emotion that arises to stay there for a moment.

3. Inner child healing exercises - write a letter to them, create a vision board with your inner child’s desires or dreams. Or engage in activities that provide a sense of nurturing and safety.

4. Practice self-compassion & curiosity - treat yourself with kindness when you feel at your most vulnerable. Allow yourself space to make mistakes, embrace the imperfections and celebrate the small victories.

5. Engage in playful movement - Dance, jump or create your own form of movement or physical activity that allows you to tap into your body’s natural joy. Let go of self-consciousness and move your body freely.

Not all these things will work for you, try them all or one at a time. Commit yourself to the change & set your inner child free 🍃

Not only am I a bad-ass, I also have a GOOD ASS 😈🍑

Do you ever have those moments or days where you pick at every little thing on your body.
Your legs, your arms. Your little belly pouch?
I absolutely have!

Some days I wake up and feel fu**ing HOT 🔥
Other days I can barely look at myself in the mirror. These are the days I have to consciously remind myself:
“It’s NOT my body that changed overnight, it’s my mindset”

Have you ever been told “it’s all in your head?”
Daily instances of crippling pain with no apparent cause. Countless trips to medical professionals only to be told “that’s just part of being a woman” or “it’s just your body changing, it’s normal”

Well I’m here to remind you that NO, it’s not normal.

I understand that sometimes the solution may not be immediately apparent or the cause obvious. But medical professionals need to communicate; to admit if they don’t know or need to run and wait on further tests.

Don’t let a doctor undermine you and your struggles. Advocate for yourself until you find someone to listen and help.

The fear of failure can be so consuming! Failure is apart of life 💜 Without failure we don’t learn, we don’t grow & when we finally do succeed it’s an even bigger high.

When a client says “I’m scared to…” I always ask “why?”
Because you’re afraid you’ll fail? Because you’re afraid that it’ll be uncomfortable, scary or even cause anxiety?

ALL THE MORE REASON!

Through embracing that feeling,I’ve learnt that sometimes the best thing for your anxiety or fears is to do it, BE IN IT.

You might realise it’s not for you, OR MAYBE… you’ll realise… it’s not so bad 🤷🏻‍♀️.

Being confident takes work, commitment & a lot of healing with love.

15 years of unhealed body trauma, muscle memory, feeling ashamed of how my clothes fit & unsure if I’ll ever feel worthy of being given a second chance.
My limiting beliefs were the same each year until I realised the only person who can crush them is ME!

It’s a long process!
It won’t happen overnight or next week. Be kind to yourself, don’t rush the process - but if you keep letting these negative beliefs dictate how you feel, you’ll never change.

Write them down, take notes on how they make you feel, what they make you think.
Ask yourself what triggered the thought; consider the reasons as to why you’re holding on to it.

We learn something new everyday 🫶🏼

Talking about things I’ve learnt or experienced sometimes comes as a shock to people because I’m “too young” to have any real life experiences…. 🙄

Life will always teach you something, no matter your age! Those lessons are unique to you.
Here’s just a few things I’ve had to get my head around. As difficult as it can be, these have been some of the most important lessons of my life so far 💜

Personally- yes and it doesn’t get spoken about enough. Your period DOES effect your training
Heres why;

Your period is spilt into 2 phases-
1. The follicular phase
2. Luteal phase
& ovulation is smack bang in the middle of it all
Each phase lasts for 2 weeks

During the Follicular phase your hormones are low, meaning that you can train at a higher intensities & your body adapts to stress a lot better.
This is where your energy is going to be through the roof & absolutely smash your training.

Ovulation happens, then enters the Luteal phase;
This is where you start to experience the mood swings, the fatigue & low energy and the cravings.
Your BMR (basal metabolic rate) also increases. Which means you burn more calories at rest - Hence why you want to eat everything in f**king sight 🙄

During this time it’s probably better for you to do lower intensity workouts- eg. Machine only training or doing a de-load week. But if you think that you energy levels are going to be the same of the course over the 4 weeks when you’re on your period… that’s probably and unrealistic expectation.

Key take away! Listen to your body, only you know what’s best for your body & adapt your training adequately 🫶🏼 HOPE THIS HELPS

Your emotions are like waves!
They peak & trough (they grow and dissipate; you recover or change)
Then comes the next wave, ranging from happiness to excitement, to anxiety; sadness to confusion and anything in between.

But what triggers the waves of life. Anything! Stress, life challenges, food choices, hormones. Absolutely anything had the ability to trigger an emotional response.

It’s all a wave baby, your just gotta ride it out 💜

Around this time of the year, we all reach a point of exhaustion. I know I have 🙋🏻‍♀️

Take some time for yourself, self care isn’t just about a face mask and a bath…
It’s about doing something for yourself that brings YOU joy & makes YOU feel a sense of calm, happiness, peace or excitement!

For me, it’s watching my favourite movie whilst I bake. I haven’t had time recently, hit the ground running after Bali & haven’t stopped 😥

Happy international women’s day!! 🤩
Every single one of these photos is because of my hype women!
Every smile and laugh is because in the background I had so many women cheering and making me feel powerful, sexy and confident.

YES! We should all control and make our own happiness and find our own confidence but having people to hype us up, cheer for us and celebrate our wins can be just a little bit more encouragement to keep at it 💜

So often women tend to compete, compare or judge other women for succeeding…
This might be;
- The feel less adequate (job, relationships and study)
- Want the same success 💰
- Struggle to stick with 1 passion and make that a lifestyle or job 🤷🏻‍♀️

It’s difficult when you’re passionate about so many things but don’t know where to go, I’ve definitely been there… But! It’s not that woman on Instagrams fault.
Have faith that eventually you’ll find it and it will be the thing that drives you! Maybe not yet, but I promise it will 💛
For now, cheer for the women that struggled, your mum, sister, aunt and grandmother- who fought for the right to even work. I love you all! I’m proud of the generation of women to come

Finding self love & empowerment through being uncomfortable 💜

What I thought & felt like in January 2023
🧡 Unsure of my self worth
🧡 Am I too much & is my baggage too heavy?
🧡 Do I deserve the love and compassion I am getting?
🧡 Will people want to work with me if I am too emotional?
🧡 Will I ever feel good (physically) about my scar?

What I know & how I feel in February 2023
💜 My self worth is not determined by someone else’s idea of me
💜 We all have s**t, I am stronger because of what I went through
💜 I am deserving of nothing less than love, respect & happiness
💜 I am only human, it’s my strength to show my honest feelings
💜 Yes!! It’s my favourite thing about me, I have an incredible story to share.

This last month has been transformative!
I laughed, cried, danced & let the adventure take me wherever! I have learnt to love my self, appreciate my story and give others a way to feel like there is a light beyond! I know that I will have days where I will still feel Januarys thoughts but! HEALING IS NOT LINEAR! And the ebs and flows happen…

I can’t wait to share what I have in store & give you a reason to KEEP GOING.

Monday Motivation 💪🏽 Doing something everyday, that is even a little uncomfortable has helped me to feel comfortable with being uncomfortable. 🤷🏻‍♀️ whether it might be a cancellation, a change of time, plans or even so that makes your body uncomfortable, the realisation of the benefits of this feeling have given me a new appreciation for my comfy place ✨

Salmon sushi bowl! 🍣

1-2 salmon fillets
2 tbs of dukkah or Za’atar (make sure it’s coated to get the best flavours)
1 avocado
1 packet of seaweed nori/snacks
1 cup of white rice (or brown)
Kewpie mayo 👌🏽

Salmon provides some amazing nutrients, 100g of salmon is 41% of the recommended daily protein intake! And at least 21% of the recommended daily intake of vitamins B3, B5, B6, B12, vitamins D & E and selenium (protects against cell damage & infections)
Salmon is also good for headaches or migraines, because of the omega-3 fatty acids.

Avocado helps to protect against heart disease & low blood pressure 🥑
