Beasley Cycles have been building, servicing and selling bicycles since 1919. J.J. Beasley Snr learned the bicycle building trade and opened the first shop in Richmond. In 1930 J.J. Beasley saw the advantages and better opportunities in the Western suburbs and moved the family and the business to 127, Buckley Street, Footscray, where it is still owned and operated by the third generation of Beasle

With the upcoming teams pursuit at the olympics it has been 40 years since Australia won at the 1984 LA olympics. Beasleys cycles is proud to have amongst our Olympic memorabilia a helmet that was worn by our Australian team signed by the late Dean Woods.

Great to catch up with the Malaysian Youth and Sport minister YB Hannah Yeoh, Dr Yatela CEO Sime Darby Foundation, Chee Lee Ming, my left hand and program physiologist, Muja, head of the Sime Darby scholar program, and the legend Tunku/Prince Imran of Negeri Sembilan who is the Chairman of the board of both the Sime Darby Foundation and SportExcel, and me. Great catch up with some wonderful women making real change, how many people get to mix with a prince, Tunku Imran, very special person doing great things in the many fields, great day and feel honoured privileged to be surrounded in such great company.
