Following the famous Belgie route this ride will be on mixed surfaces and terrain so be prepared for everything from road to singletrack. We recommend 32mm or greater tyres but gravel/CX setups are generally the go to. This is a no drop ride but due to the nature of the route there is a good chance we will split up through some sections, download the route to your head units to help with navigation at these times and as always we will meet up along the course when required.

These are the oversocks worn by Mathieu van der Poel and the entire Alpecin-Deceuninck team. In 2024, they have been ridden to victory many times, including the Tour of Flanders.

Designed specifically for (and developed by) a 2x Olympic Champion and in partnership with Alpecin Deceuninck Pro Cycling Team.

The brand new “Windsock2” aero oversocks are designed absolutely from scratch and are a complete redesign of the now outdated (but much loved) original Spatz Windsocks.

Developed for when you need immunity from the wind or protection from the elements when speed is key. The new Windsock2 has a waterproof, stretchy, sleek fitting main panel with a super aerodynamic lycra leg section.

This build received the Saint Cloud Spec which is a common upgrade to really dial in the fit and feel of these awesome bikes. ENVE handlebars, Rotor Crankset and Power2Max Powermeter.

Pat’s build features another special change. The Partington R-Series MKII R31/31 wheelset. Utilising proprietary technologies and construction, Partington wheels are now the lightest and stiffest clincher wheelset in the world and are available at Saint Cloud.
