Remember when their teeny tiny hands were this adorably small? When they could barely wrap their fingers around yours? My eldest is starting her prep transition sessions and if I think about it too much, I start welling up knowing that time is stretching further and further away from when she was this impossibly small 🥹. My little love is not so little anymore! X

The anticipation of welcoming a new addition, a new sibling, can bring on so many different emotions. I know for me, I felt so much guilt! I couldn’t help but feel like I was about to turn my little ones life upside down. I wasn’t sure how much she understood or how she really felt about it all. Turned out absolutely fine 😅 (thank goodness!) But I was so grateful to have had the opportunity to document my family when it was just the three of us. Not only celebrating my body growing a precious little human, but also that delightful bubble of just me and my little girl (and boy was she little then 🥹).

I wanted to be surprised and was *convinced* I was having a boy when I was pregnant with Amelie. I was so shocked when hubby revealed to me she was a girl!!

My guessing powers were a bit more on point with this gorgeous bump!
Little bubba is now earth-side and I can’t wait to return and capture those beautiful, slow days at home. I’ll reveal my correct guess soon! X

It’s the place you brought your little bundle home to. In the rooms you paced late into the night. It’s the spaces your heart blossomed with love as they grew and grew and grew.
It’s you and your wonderful tribe at home, where memories are made and treasured. There’s nothing more special than that!

Capturing your tribe is always a wonderful idea. It doesn’t matter how old or young your wildlings are, if you’re at home or by the seaside. Don’t wait because time won’t and they’ll never look or sound or behave the same way they did a week ago!
They really are forever blossoming. It’s beautiful to witness and even more beautiful to have kept a record and I’d love nothing more than to help you do just that xx

One of the best parts of in-home sessions is having the flexibility to go with the flow and be very child-led. Which means if one of your kids is still napping when I arrive, that’s totally ok and we’ll just capture some super sweet snaps of them getting ready, having snuggles and documenting those beautiful everyday moments once they wake up xx

Soaking in that newness during those hard hazy newborn days. The papery, delicate skin, the furled up little legs and curious eyes. Perfect and precious 🤍
