Introducing the Hydrowype A Series, type WC wiper scraper from MFP's GadJets division. Designed for unparalleled wiping and scraping performance.

Incorporated within the Zinc phosphate coated metal cage is a copper alloy scraper and a secondary wiper made in MFP's U2151 material.

Working in tandem, the copper alloy scraper removes aggressive contaminants from the rod, such as abrasives, slurries, ice, dust and materials that form a strong adhesive bond to the surface of the rod. The secondary U2151 wiping lip catches and wipes away any additional excess and finer particles before they enter the cylinder and cause damage to the internal sealing arrangement or housing.

When it comes to seal kits, accurate sizing is required to ensure a proper fit. Recently, we had a customer bring in an OEM cylinder with the claim that it had never been modified. However, upon measuring the buffer seal housing, it was discovered to be 0.80mm oversize on the OD.

If the seal had been identified using the sizing stamped on it, a standard buffer would have been supplied, which would not have fit properly. That's why we always recommend measuring housing sizes to ensure a perfect fit for every seal kit.
