Escape my themed room
Wizards themed escape rooms & Save the Princess scavenger hunt
Alice, Dr Who, Wild West & more soon Due to current available space. Group discounts may apply.
The commercial premises will see multiple rooms available with varying difficulty levels, and eventually a cafe, maybe even themed food and drinks to suit your room/party theme! Party bookings limited to 6 participants per room/time slot. However, do it alone, with a friend, in a small group, for whatever reason from birthdays to boredom. Birthday bookings will see the birthday child receive a small gift.
Hmm, think this is not designed to be "repaired" by users.
Need to think more about how to get it apart without wrecking the cover.
Screws appear to go in from the top, but no visible way to gain access to them!
Some parts just pop out, others are glued in with something serious.
Have contracted those I purchased from but likely not the actual manufacturer.
Might have to think on it a bit longer and go on with other tasks today.
Thinking to make the "Spectra Specs" into special glasses!! You'll need them to solve a puzzle!!
New timer is perfect!!
Picked up a new theme appropriate timer for the Wizarding School Room today.
Just checked and pretty close to exactly an hour.
Now need to work out where to put it!!
Tonight's booking was much appreciated.
Congrats to Olivia & Nathan
I have a plan!!
Hoping to incorporate this into the Rescue the Princess scenario.
Just charging it up to see how it actually works, before I pull it apart to make it work differently!!
Came with gloves, cool!!
New puzzles coming to Rescue The Princess.
O oh I need to remember how these all go together!! If it's not correct I might blow it up!!
There be magic coming soon!!
Last weekend of the Victorian school holidays.
Kids bored and looking for something else to do.
We are open all weekend, 10am to late.
Anyone who's been before, the Harry Potter themed room has been upgraded from paper puzzles to lock boxes. Great for 10-99+ years.
Mario is a location scavenger hunt, more active puzzles coming for next holidays, so is currently great for kids 6-10 years.
Alice is also almost ready so can be played, outside though, mostly just paper puzzle based whilst I create and build next level puzzles. Suitable for 10+ years.
All available via zoom.
Bookings preferred, drop ins welcome but the wait could be up to an hour.
Birthday party bookings also available.
Book on the page please.

My sister sent this to me, lol
Thanks to my sister, Angela Lukacs, completing the Harry Potter, Hogwarts Escape Room via zoom I've, hopefully, ironed out any bugs in the process of an online game option.
Reckon I need a better camera resolution than my Lenovo tablet has perhaps, but it will have to do to for now.
I will need to sign up to pay for zoom for video "meetings" as they are limited to 40 minutes at the moment and the game takes about an hour. US$226 per year.
Booking will be essential.
And will need email addresses to invite you to the meeting on zoom
May be able to use Skype video calls and not sure about whatsapp as it's restricted to 1 device at a time and it's on my phone not my tablet.
This afternoon we are doing a beta test of the Harry Potter scenario via Zoom.
All should be good, but test to be sure.
Once all is tested to ensure game readiness we will be accepting online bookings.
Skype video may also be an option, yet to test.
Hopefully this will increase business options.
Download zoom workplace to your PC or tablet, get your group ready and login to the invite at the appropriate time.
The game master will be your fingers!
Zoom will be your eyes.
Open daily for individuals, small groups of friends or family or whomsoever you want to challenge. Suitable for ages 8+, including adults. Kids the other day solved a puzzle, with no hint, that most adults struggle with.
Harry Potter in the carpeted garage. Heating available.
Mario and Alice outside, so need notice to get them ready just in case of inclement weather. And only until dusk at this time.
Come one, come all to a most magical experience. Try your luck.
Yes!!
Despite the location Harry Potter is a real Escape Room. With all kind of locks and puzzles to solve.
Alice is currently just puzzles but more active involvement to come soon.
Both up to 60 mins.
Mario is a 30min riddle based location finder, some easy, some harder, mostly aimed at 6-10 age group, but harder puzzles to be included soon. Just have to think of theme appropriate ones.
Still working on the Wild West scenario, my sister and her friends plan to start painting window boxes soon. Getting very exciting, bird will need bigger premises for this one as 4 rooms involved.
Setting up this morning for a Birthday Party this afternoon, will be open to general public again tomorrow.
Sorry I only have so much space! Luckily the rain has stopped and there's a bit of sunshine.
Updated the cabinet hardware yesterday.
Brute force is NEVER the solution to anything in an Escape Room.
If it doesn't come easily, don't force it! Find the solution.
Hopefully these handles will withstand future escape artists.
Although now I need a trip to the hardware store for shorter bolts as the ones they came with weren't long enough and the ones I had on hand are too long!!
I think the magnets have been giving me headaches!!
Well sh*te, guess I'm going to have to get customers to make appointments elsewhere in the future.
Damn meta taking over facebook!!
Exciting things on my kitchen bench today.
I really need to go to Bunnings for a few things. Hope my brother gets here early for mum's birthday tomorrow.
Now to work out how much PVA I need per horn?!?!?!
Suggestions gratefully accepted
New puzzles coming for the kids Mario: Save the Princess scenario
Sieving sawdust is always fun, need to fill the horns with sawdust soaked in PVA glue so I can then put threaded inserts and magnets into the end of the horn for a puzzle.
Almost daily excitement. I'm really starting to love what I do now.
