Dr. Jayalath Jayawardane foundation lead by Dr. Kavinda Jayawardane have been distributing essential school equipment and items focusing the new school term which had commenced on January 2021.
This noble cause had been carried out amides the COVID-19 pandemic by following all safety regulations. Due to this, the gatherings have been limited to few people and several distributed events were organized all through out the Gampaha district.
Samagi Jana Balawegaya Melbourne chapter was proud enough to sponsor this event with the generous donations of Victorians.

We had the opportunity to work with Dr. Kavinda Jayawardane and Dr. Jayalath Jayawardane foundation to distribute essential items and school equipment to group of young kids who are living under foster care in Gampaha district Sri Lanka.
Opposition leader Sajith Premadasa was accompanied by Madam Jalani Premadasa to bring smiles to these kids on this occasion along with Field marshal Sarath Fonseka.
