PROPERTY INVESTING or STOCK MARKET INVESTING?

This has always been one of the biggest questions and debates for people. Over 19 years, I have travelled the world teaching, educating, inspiring and guiding like minded people towards Independent Wealth and Financial Freedom.

I keep hearing, George, Im a Property person, George, Im a stock market person. George, too many people have lost money on the stock market, im too scared to invest in the stock market, I will just stick to property. Then I have people on the other spectrum. All they do is stock market and nothing else and say property is a headache.

In today's society and with the control of our freedoms, now more than ever we must be doing both.

Lots of people are Asset Rich, Cashflow Poor. How do we change that?

Lots of people are working to service their loans.

Lots of people are working just to make ends meet.

A lot of these people think they are one property deal away from becoming millionaires. Just like a lot of people believe they are one trade away from becoming millionaires. The reality is, ITS NOT POSSIBLE. Slow and steady wins the race.

People really want lifestyle, freedom, time to do what they want. They use property as the vehicle to get them there however they don't realise its 20 year plan for most people. The stock market is a 3 to 5 year plan to get to where you really want to be.

I started off with Property and realised quick smart, I hit a brick wall and couldn't borrow money to continue the property journey. After looking at the markets to invest for Cashflow, it was the vehicle that gave me Financial Freedom and allowed me to build a good sized property portfolio that keeps on growing, just like my trading accounts with less hassle and more time to do what I want, when I want. Diversification is key to long term success. Making money is one thing, keeping it and growing it is another.

WHAT IS MONEY?

Money means different things to different people. For some, when they think of money, what it is and what it can do, they see it as something positive.

Others when they think of money, they see it as being negative.
It seems then, that money can be both positive and negative, which means that money is neutral. Money can be good or bad depending how you view or think about it.

In its most basic definition, money is something that we use as a medium of exchange.

Why is money important?

Money on a very basic level helps to feed and clothe us. It helps put a roof over our heads, pay the bills and can help us to get around from one place to another much faster. On the next level it can pay for more luxurious items such as a bigger home, nice furniture, a sports car, good food, great service and allow us to travel the world seeing amazing places and regenerating our spiritual souls. Money can help us to travel in style to faraway exotic places.

It can help us to enjoy our leisure time better, too.

It can also help us make a difference. We can use it to aid others who desperately need our help and support.

When we have enough money, it can take away all those worries and thus improve our health. It can help us to feel free, secure and ultimately give us peace of mind.

I believe we are all capable of achieving financial independence. This is true.

However, statistics show that out of every one hundred people, there are only five that do make it to financial independence.
That means that each of us has a 20 to 1 chance of making it.
They’re not good odds. This is why at Fokas Beyond, my lifes goal is to educate and reach as many people as I can to help them understand Money, how it works and how to make it work for you.

Why is money important?

Let’s just say that money gives you more options in life. It gives you vastly more freedom and that’s what you want, isn’t it?

Money on a very basic level helps to feed and clothe us. It helps put a roof over our heads, pay the bills and can help us to get around from one place to another much faster. On the next level it can pay for more luxurious items such as a bigger home, nice furniture, a sports car, good food, great service and that holiday/vacation many keep dreaming about.

It can help us to enjoy our leisure time better, too.

Money can help us to travel in style to faraway exotic places.

It can also help us make a difference. We can use it to aid others who desperately need our help and support.

When we have enough money, it can take away all those worries and thus improve our health. It can help us to feel free, secure and ultimately give us peace of mind.

Earlier I said that we are all capable of achieving financial independence.

This is true.

However, statistics show that out of every one hundred people, there are only five that do make it to financial independence.
That means that each of us has a 20 to 1 chance of making it.

They’re not good odds.

Why then is there only a small number who make it?

Nearly every big Success is built upon a failure.
