➕Meet Liam Johns (Physiotherapist)

➕Liam Johns is a Physiotherapist with a Masters degree in Physiotherapy from Swinburne and a Bachelors of Exercise science from Latrobe.

➕Alongside his clinical work Liam has over 7 years experience working with football teams and is currently part of the team at the Essendon Football Club in the AFL.

➕Liam specialises in gym/sporting injuries, post surgical care including ACL rehab and running injuries.

➕Additionally, Liam has an array of manual therapy and exercise rehab skills in all aspects of physiotherapy, taking a friendly and caring approach to each persons individual needs.

➕Outside of Excel Body & Health, Liam loves watching and playing all kinds of sports; AFL, Cricket, NFL, Basketball, Golf and long distance running!

➕We are excited to have Liam join the team at EBH. He will be consulting on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays while also teaching a few classes on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Today is World Parkinson’s Day! A day when the world unites to shine a light on Parkinson’s Disease.

With more than 220,000 Australians living with Parkinson’s, it is now the fastest growing neuro degenerative condition in the world - for which there is no cure.

➕ On a personal note- having both my Nonna and Dad diagnosed with the progressive neurological condition; I feel very passionate to help in any way that I can to help lift the lid on Parkinson’s!

In saying this, this year our family is taking part in ‘A Walk in the Park’ for .au to help raise awareness and much needed funds in support of the Parkinson’s community… for every conversation and interaction counts for our Parkinson’s community!
