This week, Willow from our Brunswick East team gives her thoughts on our new Limited Edition Colombian - Single Origin.

“When I brewed this Limited Edition Yellow Gesha, I was immediately struck by the delicate aroma that filled my kitchen. As the coffee bloomed, the scent of orange blossom blossomed beautifully, mingling with hints of lemongrass and pear. The final cup is remarkably complex, with the flavours of raspberry and pear balancing perfectly against the bright floral backdrop.

Drinking this coffee felt like a small ritual, each sip revealing more of its nuanced profile. The taste was as dynamic as the aroma had been, with incredible fruit flavours creating a beautifully layered experience. This is an incredible coffee, highlighting the convalescence of a fantastic variety of coffee, stunning terroir, and Jairo Arcila's dedication to coffee processing.”

This partnership highlighted the Numburindi Arts Centre in South-East Arnhem and their innovative efforts to address the global issue of ghost nets.⁠

Through the funds we’ve raised, Numbulwar were able to host a series of workshops that allow artists to explore new avenues for the use of ghost nets in their fibre art practice which expands their skills and opens up new career opportunities.⁠

We're excited to introduce our newest single-origin coffee, which comes from Pedro Garcia's farm in the village of San Francisco, located northwest of Peru. 🇵🇪 On four hectares, Pedro and his family grow bourbon, tabi, and pace varietals. The result is a coffee that pleasures the palate with a coating mouthfeel, vibrant pineapple acidity, and sweet notes of grape and coconut.

"Picture this: you’re bundled up at home with a hot water bottle and you cast your mind back to last summer… you’re sitting on a picnic blanket eating fresh fruit. If only there was a way to recreate this feeling. Well, have I got news for you, pal.

Grown by coffee producer Antonio Medina, this washed coffee comes to us from the lush and fertile south-western region of Guatemala. You can expect bright and juicy flavours with tasting notes of Apple and Peach – a mid-winter fruit salad, you could say.
