With our hiatus date fast approaching, this weekend is now or never for me to cook up a farewell storm of dishes that you haven't experienced. Nothing brings me more joy than feeding people and I know how each one of these menus holds a special place in everyone's life.

I always tell people that I don't sell food, but nostalgia. These flavours that we grew up with has the power to take us back to memories we often times forgot we had.

Us Bengalis, as we sit down to eat, find ourselves contemplating what our our next meal is going to be.
Food is central to our identity and with great food comes even greater hospitality.

Please book in advance, as kacchi can only be prepped and cooked ahead of time. And if you've booked, please honour your booking. We turn people away all the time because we only have a certain number of pots of kacchi cooked, but if the people booking don't end up ordering what they confirmed they would, it leads to food wastage. My Mom and Khala have spent the last 3 months with me in kitchen as I learned what I can honestly say is a fraction of all that sacred knowledge passed down to them from my Nanu. They leave Saturday morning and I will miss having them around dearly. Not a day goes by that I don't appreciate all the hours they've spent feeding me amazing meals all my life and its been an absolute privilege learning all the tips and tricks that make their cooking so damn yummy! I want the whole world to taste how good their cooking is!

We will be staying closed tonight to celebrate their birthdays! I've only been able to celebrate their birthday once in the last 10 years so tonight is super special to me! To say I'll be heart broken when they leave is an understatement!
