Sarah La Galle - Thermomix Consultant
The Thermomix was my gift to myself during lockdown after having my eye on owning one from the time it came to Australia 20 years ago.
Let me show you how to bring the fun and joy back to cooking (even if you've never really loved it!) The smart connected Thermomix TM6 is all about cooking smarter not harder. When I first used my TM6 I was immediately struck by how easy and fun it was to use. Next was the potential the TM6 had to help people with disabilities or other health concerns prepare healthy and nutritious meals where the

It's Meat Free Monday and this recipe is full of spice, plus a great source of zinc, calcium, iron and vitamin C. 🍛
With a serving size of 6 portions, this Vegetable Pilaf will be a delicious leftover for lunch tomorrow too!

Interesting soup with an even more interesting name! Mulligatawny Soup is such a flavourful soup with ingredients you wouldn’t expect. This is an English dish that originated from an Indian recipe. It explains a lot when you see it has classic Indian spices but has an apple thrown into the mix! 😄
It’s a really warming dish, ideal for an easy dinner or lunch. 🙌

I’ve posted this before but you really can’t go past Chicken, Spinach and Leek Risotto. It’s a favourite in our house. Didn’t have spinach so just used some frozen peas. 🙌🙌

Yummm… Sticky Toffee Pudding… 😋 One of my favourite desserts and so easy in the TM6! Make the toffee sauce, then the pudding and then walk away for 30 minutes. Perfect winter dessert! 🙌🙌
I used the silicone dariole moulds from the Mix Shop. You can fit eight moulds perfectly in the varoma bowl. It’s an ideal single-serve size. You can use other similar sized cups/moulds if need be.
Give these puddings a try. They’re a great Sunday night dessert!

Do you make the most of your TM6 modes? This Goulash Soup is prepped in 15 minutes. The beef is browned in the mixing bowl so all the flavour stays in the one place. Your TM6 does the rest over a couple of hours. We served with some crusty bread. A delicious, warming meal!

Your weekly recipe inspiration! What’s been cooking in your kitchen?
Gotta love a stir fry! It’s quick, easy and delicious. The Stir-fry Beef Bowl ticks those boxes! It can easily be prepped ahead for an easy mid-week meal. Chop up the veg the night before and put your beef in a bowl to marinate in the sauce overnight. It’s just a few quick steps after that for dinner to be on the table. 🙌

Some great recipe inspiration this week! 💚
Have you tried making poached eggs in your TM6 yet? This was my first attempt and I’m pretty happy with the result!
Fresh eggs are best to get that lovely round shape. They’re still tasty though if you get a few stringy bits of egg white hanging off.
Another great use for your blade cover and peeler!
DM me if you’d like some advice on getting that perfect poached egg! 💚

“This is beautiful darl. What’dya call these things again?” says Darryl.
“Rissoles. Everybody cooks rissoles darl” beams Sal.
“Yeah but it’s what you do with them!” - (The Castle, 1997).
You can’t beat rissoles for an easy meal and these ones had a twist with the addition of pine nuts and currants. Kept it simple with a serving of mashed potato and some steamed veg.

Have you tried Paprika Chicken with Sour Cream Sauce? Chilly nights call for warming casseroles. This one is delicious!
Super quick to prepare and then an hour in the oven while you sit down and relax (or dig up something to entertain the kids during the hols!). I served this with some rice and steamed veg. You could also do mashed potato.
This dish is great to feed a large family or to serve at a dinner party. You could also make this on the weekend and reheat for a quick mid-week meal.

We tried Sous Vide Kangaroo with Rosemary for dinner tonight. It’s not something I’ve had often but I hen I have it’s been quite gamey-tasting and chewy. This dish was nothing like that! It still had a strong flavour but was very tasty.
I served with steamed vegetables and roast potatoes. I did tell a white lie to my kids and told them it was steak! 😄
This recipe is definitely worth trying! 👍🏻🙌
