Clinic Closure 2021 🎄🌟
The Christmas season has come about so quickly, and so has our clinic closure! Across all Splash clinics, our close of business (last day) will be Thursday 23rd Dec 2021, and we will reopen Tuesday 4th January 2021. 🚪

We were so honoured to have the incredible Michelle Garcia Winner (founder and author of ) present to our whole team yesterday about all things social thinking and the social mind!! Social thinking is a big therapy focus for us at Splash and our team learnt so much to take into our practice with our clients 🌟 Thank you so much Michelle for your time and absolutely fabulous knowledge you shared- we feel so lucky!!!

It’s OT Week! 🌟

At Splash our OTs help children and families to achieve their goals across their everyday occupations of Play, Self Care and Productivity (kinder and school skills) 🧸📝🪥

We do this through direct skill development with the children, parent coaching and consultation to educators.

We are focussed on building safe environments and strong relationships to support our clients and families!

🌟 School Holiday Activity Bingo Freebie! 🌟

School holidays are upon us again, but this time with the added challenge of a lockdown. Knowing that it can be a pretty difficult time for our families, our therapists got together and came up with some fun ideas that we thought might help with a little inspiration!

We’ve made a fun game of bingo with a whole lot of indoor and outdoor activity ideas. How many can you cross off the list?! We hope you find some inspiration in the ideas, but more importantly, have fun while giving them a go.

Meet Hannah! 👋🏼

🌟 Hannah holds a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (first class honours), which she completed at the University of Queensland.
🌟Hannah has also worked with Melbourne University as the Study Coordinator of the Speech ATAX trial, a multisite, multi-national speech therapy trial in hereditary ataxia.
🌟Hannah is passionate about working at Splash Therapy in a paediatric setting, working directly with children and their families to support their speech and communication needs. She is a warm, kind and enthusiastic speechie that brings lots of joy to the families she works with!
🌟 In her spare time, Hannah enjoys going for bike rides and checking out Melbourne’s best pastry spots!

🌟 Ruth is one of our energetic, fun and fantastic OTs at our essendon clinic!
🌟 She holds a Bachelor of Applied Science and Masters of Occupational Therapy practice
🌟Ruth is a highly passionate Occupational Therapist who is able to build rapport with the children and families she works with.
🌟Ruth has delivered many group programs in previous roles, as well as at Splash and enjoys the dynamic of groups and the benefits they provide children therapeutically and socially.
🌟Ruth is interested in working with children with handwriting difficulties, to support their learning in the school setting.
🌟Ruth is passionate about helping children achieve everyday functional goals that are meaningful to them!
🌟In her spare time, Ruth enjoys playing sport (touch rugby and netball) and loves baking treats!
