Whitening can be achieved in-chair or with take home kit . In chair is quick due to high percentage bleach used which gives several shades whiter teeth but can be uncomfortable for few days due to post bleach sensitivity or pain vs take home is low percentage,convenient which helps if teeth are sensitive and if teeth are not too yellow or you don’t want too white teeth . This patient had root canal treatments done and because they were quite heavily filled, there was a risk of them breaking down. So, in order to protect these teeth, they were satisfactorily restored with crowns.
