A little over a year ago, I was on my way from New Zealand back to Australia after visiting my family. I was sitting in Auckland Airport reflecting on my life, specifically from about 2019 to that present day. I had experienced a number of setbacks, including difficulties with my previous employer, an injury to my knee, the collective trauma of COVID lockdowns, a violent home invasion, my father being hospitalized, and a difficult breakup.

This happened when my YouTube channel was performing exceptionally well. However, after this constant chain of events, I didn't have the energy to put out content that improved upon what I had achieved previously.

So there I was in Auckland Airport. For the first time since 2018, I had a new dream or vision for the future. I wanted to have a classroom workspace in Melbourne where I could teach Ableton and music production, as well as facilitate workshops to continue engaging with the music community. I also wanted to be able to sustain myself financially through teaching.

This led to the birth of AudioMasters, which is the name I'll use for in person Tuition here in Melbourne. Which, in time, will establish itself somewhere in Melbourne physically, but for now I will be using public workshop spaces to teach.

I'm happy to announce that on August 29th, I will be starting my first intake for my Ableton Inside Out classes. These classes are designed for absolute beginners who want to learn Ableton Live. I will teach you everything you need to know to master Ableton Live and begin your journey of self-expression through music production.

Submit your psytrance track and get selected to be part of our next VA compilation

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗥𝗨𝗟𝗘𝗦

1. Create a psytrance track that suits the standards of quality and creativity of our label

2. Make sure that the track matches the music concept of the VA (Listen to the previous Collective Entity for examples)

3. Export your track as a .WAV in 16 or 24bit, ensuring at least 6db of headroom, then Upload your track on wetransfer to [email protected] by the 1st of March 2022

4. The winner will have his/her track released as part of the upcoming V.A. Compilation by Collective Intelligence

It's been great connecting with Dash through YouTube, I've learnt so much from him and it was a real honor to have him as the first guest.

It's the first track I'm revealing for the project called Androidus!

The tracks called 'I'm Your Doctor' and it's got in your face leads and full power psychedelic soundscapes.

I hope you all enjoy the track, I had a lot of fun making it - the whole song was made on live stream over various sessions.

The Collective Intelligence Podcast is coming - I need a jingle to use for it, so I figured I'd throw the ball and see who will catch it...

Maximum length 30 seconds.

Style - use your imagination, how do your favorite Podcasts open? How can you imagine the Collective Intelligence Podcast starting? Psychedelic? Synths? Broken Beat? Melodic?

We will judge the submissions together on a live stream, winner will have their jingle/intro used for the first season of the Collective Intelligence Podcast.

How?

Write a jingle, export it with roughly 6db of headroom as a .wav at 48khz & 24bit and then send it via wetransfer to [email protected] (if the download expires message me and resend... ;) )
