We support, educate, inform, empower and bring hope to people who are living with myeloma, and their loved ones. Myeloma Australia publishes many online resources to guide you through myeloma. These resources include our booklets such as ‘Myeloma – A Comprehensive Guide’ and ‘Living Well with Myeloma’, information sheets and treatment fact sheets.

I've been living for 8 years with my myeloma - never L8 for appointments and patient w8ing for treatments and tests.
Don't need to catch a cold and haven't had Covid - so know when to isol8 from any crowds. I always get vaccin8ed.
Medical specialists doctors nurses and health staff are gr8.
I appreci8 all that they do.

Huge thanks to Kate Davidson and nearly 100 amazing participants for rocking the MA logo colors and raising over $5,100 for Myeloma Australia in Noosa last month! Kate organized this fantastic fundraiser walk in support of a friend and to help get us closer to finding a cure for myeloma.

Congratulations to our Queensland Specialist Team Jonah Hanlon, Peta Parter and Natasha Clarke who represented Myeloma Australia in the Bridge to Brisbane on the weekend. The girls flew the Myeloma Australia flag high and completed the race in excellent times. Thank you for raising the profile of Myeloma Australia!

Rotary Club program announces cancer nursing scholarships for the 2025 or 2026 academic year.
Led by the Rotary Club of Camberwell in Melbourne in collaboration with Myeloma Australia, the Rotary Outreach Myeloma Program engages with many Rotary Clubs across Australia to play an important role in improving outcomes for people living with myeloma and other cancers in regional and remote Australia. Rotary Outreach Myeloma Program celebrates the pivotal roles of nurses in cancer treatment. Four fully funded Graduate Certificate in Cancer Nursing scholarships are now offered to selected registered nursing candidates in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland. Through post-graduate education and upskilling, successful candidates will play key roles in improving outcomes for patients in their regional settings. BCAM! MGUS is short for Monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance. MGUS is a condition with a detectable paraprotein (like myeloma) but with no associated symptoms. MGUS may never become myeloma. The risk of transformation from MGUS to active myeloma is very low with only a 1 per cent chance each year of follow-up. Myeloma Australia and the Myeloma Health Care Professional Community welcomed Professor Irene Ghobrial from Harvard Medical School in the USA to the 5th National Myeloma Scientific Workshop in Melbourne this weekend.
Professor Ghobrial shared her experience on navigating CAR-T for myeloma, molecular determinants of disease progression and finally gave the Laurence Catley Memorial Lecture.
This workshop is an important time for health care professionals to gather and discuss the research and projects that they are undertaking to the pathway to a cure.
