This year we continued to prioritise direct relationships with coffee producers and export partnerships, reducing spot purchasing as well as expanding the countries we source from — such as Indonesia.

Our focus remains on sustainable and equitable trade, supporting coffee-growing communities whilst delivering exceptional flavours to you, our customers.

Currently brewing the Kenyan Kii, a vibrant and fruity cup with tasting notes of Apricot, Raspberry, Honey 🍯

This coffee marks the first of our Kenya releases for 2024. Sourced from our friends at Cafe Imports, this lot showcases the classic flavours we love in Kenyan coffee. Bright, elegant, and fruity, Kii’s release symbolises the transition of the seasons as we bid farewell to the colder months and embrace the arrival of longer, sunnier days.

To some, Melbourne might just be known for its art and food scene, but to us, it’s also the hidden alleyways, hole-in-the-wall spots, and heritage buildings that truly define the city.

Having been part of the coffee scene for over a decade and a half, we've witnessed how much the city has evolved. Yet, in many ways, the coffee culture has stayed true to its roots. We’re fortunate to be part of a community that’s deeply connected, not just locally, but globally. Whether it’s brewing coffee sourced from across the world or sharing our roasts with cafés in other states, we feel a sense of pride knowing our coffee plays a part in something bigger.

We're thrilled to continue our direct partnership with Mustefa for the fourth year running. A pioneering producer in the region near Jimma, West Ethiopia, Mustefa’s washed coffee has consistently delivered versatility across all brewing methods. Once they reach their peak roast, the beans are swiftly cooled to preserve the flavours we’ve carefully crafted. Each batch is then weighed and sealed with care, ensuring the coffee you receive is as fresh as the moment it was roasted. From our hands to yours, every step reflects our commitment to quality, flavour, and the shared experience of a perfect cup.
