Fruit platter for today at yoga retreat
A huge bowl of Mediterranean couscous salad for 13 people ๐๐. I specially bakes the eggplants and capsicums (pepper), add olive, parsley and sliced red onion. Drizzle with olive oil, lemon juice and oregano. Yummy!
Bakwan jagung aka vegan corn fritters. Simple yet yummy for lunch. You can add some eggs too in the batter and use any fresh herbs (coriander for asian version or parsley for western twist). Add some chopped red pepper (capsicum) for some color, salt and pepper, crushed garlic and some onions. ๐๐
Whatโs for lunch? Yummy Buddha Bowl for sure! Healthy and easy meal to prepare for lazy Sunday afternoon, delish! ๐๐ thank you for trusting me cooking at the retreat this weekend. I truly enjoy every moment of preparing those meals for 13 beautiful souls ๐ฅฐ
Can we have some Indonesian dessert too? Yes of course! ๐ Indonesian rice custard with coconut syrup (bubur sumsum). This dessert reminded me of my childhood. I remember my late grandma brought these for my breakfast. She bought them from her neighbour and they were still warm, so tasty! ๐ once in a while, i would make them at home and reminiscing those memories whilst satisfy my tastebud.
Last night dinner was vegan caesar salad with homemade herb croutons and homemade caesar dressing, pumpkin and rosemary soup, dessert vegan gluten free brownies ๐
Easy, simple and yummy homemade vegan ramen for winter lunch. I used miso paste, stock powder, dried mixed mushroom, Korean chili paste and sesame oil for the soup base. Added blanched kale and sprinkle with some sesame seeds ๐๐
Indonesian spicy potatoes (Balado Kentang) one of my favourite dishes. Since u I just harvested my red chillies ๐ถ ๐ถ๐ถ I decided to make this dish ๐๐

At Kitchenfun withti we can never get enough of cake๐ This week we ventured out in chocolate cake territory. We hit the mark with this Vegan Organic Chocolate cake. Be warned there is nothing light about this cake its big on flavour and taste.
The frosting is a mouthwatering, ultra rich chocolate. Topped off with some organic blue berries for a little bit of Zest!

๐ A lovely assortment of organic vegetables spiked with chill. To add extra flavour there is desiccated coconut thrown through the serving! Kaffir lime leaf was added for citrus fragrance and a big of ZING. Plus, weโve paired it with sliced fried tempe.
Vegan lemon cake for the cold & rainy weekend. I have created a new recipe for this, by using seasonal produce ๐๐ it is moist, with sweet and tangy flavour. No one would think that this is vegan cake. No eggs, no milk. ๐
