The team headed down to Point Leo Estate for the launch of the Mornington Peninsula Small Business Festival earlier this month.

It was a chance to network with other locals and celebrate the vibrant business community.

The highlight of the evening was the keynote speaker, Dr Jason Fox, who reminded us to find purpose in our work, enjoy the small wins and lead with empathy.

It's TOMORROW! Homelessness Week is about raising awareness of challenges people experiencing homelessness face, which are many! FAIR SHARE is an event being run this Friday night at Mornington Park - Schnapper Drive, 6pm-9pm to bring attention to the issue of homelessness down this way. Live music, food, speakers and Walk Without Home - a participatory experience around the challenges of homelessness. Please come along 😊

This Sunday Rotary Club of Sorrento are holding the Point Nepean Heritage Motor Show at the Quarantine Station, Point Nepean, and they selected SPCS as the (very grateful!) recipient organisation. All funds raised will go to supporting our work with rough sleepers and to our SPLaSh program. Public entry is $5 per person 10am-2pm, so please head along, see some amazing vehicles and support our work at the same time! ❤

Just down the road from multi-million-dollar houses, a growing community is sleeping in tents Victoria's Mornington Peninsula is known for its popular holiday destinations and exclusive postcodes, but it's also home to 1,000 people who, the council says, are sleeping rough in tents and cars every night.
