๐จ๐ณ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฏ ๐จ๐ณ๐ข๐ด๐ด ๐ธ๐ช๐ต๐ฉ๐ช๐ฏ is an exhibition of processโan installation of fragmented memories that overlap, reform, and engage with the present moment. It explores maternal relationships as an intangible, overlapping space where femininity intertwines with the stories untold and the unexpected; sprawling through a continuous process of transformation and revision. It evokes a sense of imagined nostalgia, a longing that one clings to when time truncates the path for daughters to return home.

residual heat is an evolving exhibition that explores the expansion of selfhood across time and place, focusing on creation, childhood, maternal ancestry, and the concept of home. It features an interactive rug with inset video, alongside private letters to the artistโs mother from her family in Malaysia.
This intergenerational dialogue delves into emotional legacies and the experiences of yellow women navigating matrescence and parenthood in foreign lands, spanning 32 years (1992-2023). Central to the exhibition is the phrase โๅธฎๆโ (help me) carved into the rugโs speech bubble, representing a poignant connection between cultural expression and the unspoken feelings left by time and language.
The exhibition also includes Other Tongue ้ค Ghost Kitchen .tongue, a collaboration with artist Ruby White and The Physics Room in ลtautahi, Aotearoa . This project offers nourishing meals that honor birthing and menstruating bodies, providing comfort for those seeking inner healing.
Together, these works present a cosmic triptych of the postpartum state as numerous and complex practices, tied to the artists return to โthe other side of lifeโ.

MEga Yoga is a participatory embodied performance that uses the structure of a yoga class inviting participants to move their bodies slowly and their minds critically. MEga Yoga is a more than human collaboration between Jessica, Juliana and an Artificial Intelligenceโs perception of the wellness industryโs values and ideals. The performance is accompanied by an original 30 minute New Age style soundtrack designed to function as an uncannily reflexive mantra. This participatory experience intends to invite participants to question the increasing commodification of spirituality through practices such as Western Yoga. The experience explores the nuanced capitalist and spiritual tensions that many wellness products, services and experiences present through sensory activation and embodiment as a way to actively reflect on these topics.
This performance is part of a creative practice research project which aims to raise awareness and spark conversations about participation within neoliberal spiritual practices and the wellness industry. Participants may choose if they want to share their experience as a part of this research.

As First Peoples grieve the result of the referendum, Bus Projects continues to recognise the critical importance, now more than ever, of doing the work to support a larger project of decolonisation: through truth-telling, through solidarity, though advocacy. This includes recognising the ongoing impacts of colonisation, dispelling the myth that racism does not exist in Australia, supporting restitution and repatriation efforts, speaking up and out against discrimination, and interrogating and decentring dominant settler-colonial and Western epistemologies. In, around and associated with Bus Projects, there is no room for hate or division.
Bus Projects remains committed to the cultural safety of First Peoples and ensuring a safe and welcoming space for artists, staff, board and our extended community. It is our responsibility to evolve and develop our organisational and governance practices, and to centre First Peoples voices and experiences in our leadership and in the development and delivery of our artistic programming, policies and strategies.
Always was. Always will be.
