❗️STAGE 3 TAX CUTS ❗️

As of July 1st 2024, the Government will be implementing new tax rates, introducing legislation to support this, reducing the Medicare Levy Surcharge! These changes will assist in the cost of living.

- The 19% tax rate will be reduced to 16%
- The 32.5% tax rate will be reduced to 30%
- Increase the threshold above which the 37 per cent tax rate applies from $120,000 to $135,000
- Increase the threshold above which the 45 per cent tax rate applies from $180,000 to $190,000

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR YOU?
This means that as from July 1, 2024, depending on your salary, an extra $20 to $100 will be added to your net wage.

The Compassionate Friends Victoria (TCFV), in collaboration with Kids Safe, hosted a bright and lovely Fund Raising Gala Night of Hope on Saturday.
Saba Seyoum from MAS Tax Accountants Yarraville is the Board member of the Finance and Building Commitee for Compassionate Friends Victoria, and she thoroughly enjoyed the meaningful night representing MAS Tax Accountants and giving back to the community.The photos are taken with Saba and Daniel Bendel, treasurer and Kevin the President of the organisation.

The Compassionate Friends Victoria (TCFV) is dedicated in supporting grieving parents, siblings and grandparents in the event of a loss of a child of any age from any cause. Using lived experience, peer support by volunteers are provided to a grieving family to help cope and provide comfort for the pain of losing a loved one.
