Moreland City FC would like to announce the appointment of Zivko Kolevski as Senior Head Coach for 2025.

Ziv holds an AFC ‘A’ Licence and is currently preparing an application for Football Australia’s Pro-Diploma.

Ziv led our Under 23s this season making huge inroads with our youth development, including regular attendance and contributions to our JNPL program.

Zivko’s football IQ, organisation, management, and communication skills has shone through this season, convincing the club of his significant value to our future plans.

We wish Ziv luck and hope the whole Moreland City family gets behind him with their full support.

The club would like to sincerely thank our Senior Head Coach David Ostojic for his service to our wonderful club.


Dave decided, very much on his own terms, that it was time to move on from the senior role. Whilst it is the end of a chapter, the loyal and long-standing relationships remain very much intact.


We recognise and admire Dave’s contribution over two decades in a number of different roles culminating in him playing a massive role in the club’s championship in 2022 and becoming Senior Head Coach in 2023.

When Dave informed his players and the club, he would not be continuing as coach next season it was the end of an era. But our man moves on with the respect of all at the club. We say ‘moves on’ not ‘leaves’ as he will always be part of the rich history of our 109-year-old club. No matter what the future holds for Dave in terms of football or life he will always be part of the Moreland City family.

Despite the constant challenges and hurdles, he never once waved the white flag. The man embodies resilience and leaves behind a legacy that will endure at the club.

Dave’s departure on such good terms speaks volumes about what this club stands for. We stick together, we stay loyal when times get tough.

And we move forward.

But not without first thanking and acknowledging a true champion of the club.

Under 16 JNPL player Isaiah Afamasaga leaves for international duty on Wednesday morning for 3 weeks and we send him with our best wishes.

Isaiah was selected to play for Samoa at the OFC U-16 Men’s Championship in Tahiti that decides which nation represents Oceania at the 2025 FIFA U-17 Men’s World Cup.

Don’t be shy to post a message of good luck to our young international!

Enjoy the experience and do Moreland City proud Isaiah!

We are thrilled to announce that MCFC Under 16 players, Marcus Cristalidis and Isaiah Afamasaga have been selected for Team Vic Football Under 16s. They will represent Victoria at the School Sport Australia Football Championships to be held in Port Kennedy, WA from 11 to 16 August 2024.
