Koonung Park Tennis Club upgraded courts 6 & 7

Recently the courts 6 & 7 were upgraded to Euro Clay, to match those on courts 8 & 9.
The feedback on this has been excellent. As much as possible, these courts are being made available for social play.
This capital works project couldn't have been fully completed without the generous contribution of $38,500 made by the Suburban Rail Loop Authority.

Koonung Park section 5 narrowly lose the Masters grand final, however still walked away with the Best Team Aggregate Award, an exclusive group that includes Kooyong Section 1.

Club Championships 2022
On October 1 the Club Championships were held. It was a lovely event with many spectators cheering on and a club sausage sizzle provided.
Prizes were kindly handed out by Alex Sly from one of our major partners - Fletchers Real Estate Blackburn

Bendigo Bank $5,000 donation.
The tennis club has received a $5,000 donation from Bendigo Bank Community Bank Whitehorse to go towards the replacement of aging halogen court lighting with new LED lighting.

The club thanks Bendigo Bank sincerely for its generosity. The new lighting will go ahead this year using a mixture of donations and club funds.

Easter Holiday Tennis Clinic- April 2022

A Vietnamese Association Tennis Tournament was held at Koonung Park on March 13. A great day of competitive tennis was had with the finals not finishing till 9:30 pm.

A Chinese association Tennis Tournament was held at Koonung Park on March 12. Many local players in attendance and a successful and fun day of competitive tennis.
