The Coastal Guide is for people seeking a professional certification in a Coastal paddling environments using SOT craft. The Recreational Sea Kayak Course gives you the fundamental skills to paddle safely and efficiently in enclosed waters with others. It covers a range of topics: interpret weather conditions, dress appropriately for the range of conditions and understand the advantages and limitations of your kayak. Join us for expert tuition in small groups capped at 6 participants. This course was developed for Transport Safety Victoria under the guidelines of Paddle Australia to promote safe and enjoyable kayaking.

The Recreational Kayak Course is:

a 3 hour intensive session in sit on top kayaks, packrafts & inflatable kayaks

held at our Training Centre 37 Jetty Rd Sandringham. We are situated on the beach and accessible by public transport

also available as private tuition or 1:1 by appointment during the week or weekends at additional cost. If you wish a short session in Sea Kayaks we recommend Private Tuition or our 1 day course through our sister company Sea Kayak Australia.

The water is clear and the location is remote. Paddle past huge granite cliffs, sandy beaches and explore sea caves. The lunch spot is amazing with views down to Kilcunda. Go for a swim or just look out at the views.
