Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' health and medical history to determine suitable treatment plans
- Perform remedial therapy and myotherapy techniques to address clients' muscular and soft tissue concerns
- Utilize a variety of techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, and stretching to alleviate pain and promote healing
- Provide personalized recommendations for self-care exercises, stretches, and lifestyle modifications to enhance treatment outcomes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including treatment notes and progress reports
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physiotherapists and chiropractors, to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Stay updated with the latest research and developments in the field of remedial therapy and myotherapy
- Uphold high standards of professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality in all interactions with clients

Requirements:
- Certification or diploma in Remedial Massage Therapy, Myotherapy, or a related field
- Current professional liability insurance
- Proven experience as a Remedial Therapist or Myotherapist, with a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and musculoskeletal conditions
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt treatment plans based on individual needs
- Ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with clients of diverse backgrounds
- A professional and compassionate demeanor, with a genuine passion for improving clients' overall well-being
- Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina to perform various techniques effectively

Welcome Nicholas Mazza as the newest member of the Body Tune team!

Nicholas is a passionate and experienced remedial massage therapist as well as an Osteopathy student set to graduate in 2023. He also currently works as a sports trainer for the Pascoe Vale Panthers Football Club.

Nicholas is passionate about providing the highest level of care for his patients and helping people reach their goals. Utilizing his on-field experience combined with his studies, he is proficient in identifying, treating and preventing injuries using his vast knowledge of anatomy and biomechanics of the human body.

Outside of work, Nicholas loves training at the gym and has an interest for all sports.
