We are teaching social and emotional literacy skills such as initiating and making friends, feeling and expressing emotions, coping with change and transitions.
From our work with your little one, we create a transition document to support the future school to be completely ready for your child to join in 2025.
It's a brilliant, tried and tested program.

ACS Newsletter - Issue 5 of 2024 Welcome to another issue of our newsletter. I trust this message finds all members of our wonderful neurodiverse affirming community well. Term 2 is now drawing to a close, Winter has arrived and the School Holidays are just a few weeks away.

The Secret Agent Society is a science backed, small group program, for children with Neurodiversity.
ACS have been delivering this program for over 7 years with extraordinary success!
We have adapted the program by removing all elements which relate to ABA or encourage masking. We want our children to be powerfully themselves, confident, brave and happy.
We have limited spaces for term 3 and term 4 2024, we love what we do!

Autism Consultancy Services is so obsessed by Lego we got 3d printed Lego flowers for the corridor!
Providing neuroaffirmative social and emotional learning is our passion, as is Lego, but keeping real plants alive is challenging😆

We have extraordinarily brilliant therapists, who deliver fun and engaging social groups. Our social groups are all scientifically proven to support young people with Neurodivergent brains, as well as being assessed by the NDIS as being value for money.
We have spent years building our resources and investing in our team's training, to provide the best service possible for our community.

The school holiday program for Autism Consultancy Services is up and running!

Here is a picture of Mike ACS’s very own Dungeons And Dragons Grand Master, opening the first D&D social group of the year!

There are so many implicit and explicit social skills which can be learnt whilst playing!!! We will be running in-person D&D every term time Saturday, using our science based social skills framework to ensure we work towards our clients NDIS goals, making this activity -along with everything we do- value for money, ND affirming and great fun!

Our last Newsletter for 2023, what a big year we have gone through - it has had some amazing highs and lows!! Now it is time for a well earned rest with family.

ACS Newsletter - December 2023 This has been a year of growth for ACS, having expanded our team and moving into our wonderful new premises. We are looking forward to building on this momentum in 2024 and consolidating our position as a leading provider of neurodiverse affirming therapy within Melbourne.

Autism Consultancy Services is a Neurodiverse affirming therapy hub in Yarraville, Victoria. We currently have availability in our Secret Agent Society groups running on Tuesday afternoons and Saturday mornings of Term 1 2024.
I know everyone is clawing their way to the end of this crazy year, and thinking about next year is so challenging, however this program is brilliant.
We teach children in a safe Neuroaffirmative way about understanding their body cues, finding their tribe and making friends, what bullying is and how to get help. We love your kids exactly as they are, we aim to support them to decode the world we live in.
As someone with ADHD I wish I had known this stuff when I was a child!

ACS Newsletter - November 2023 The move has been exciting and terrifying but we are ready and our wonderful families, who we serve diligently are also ready.

These summer school holidays we are opening up some exciting groups here at ACS. All school age children are welcome!
Program starts Monday 15th January 2024, at our new location 128a Roberts Street, Yarraville. We look forward to spending time with your children!

It is moving day for my beautiful Neurodiverse affirming therapy business.
ACS has been in a shared therapy hub setting for over two years, but it is now time to spread our wings and fly solo!!
I am excited and terrified but we are ready, our wonderful families who we serve diligently are ready and we are all going to make great things happen!

This is me yesterday (Thursday), modelling our new inclusion lanyards, getting ready for Wear it Purple day today! I forgot to take a photo of me wearing purple today - gah ADHD brain!

Wear it Purple Day is an annual LGBTIQA+ awareness day especially for young people, based in Australia. Supporters wear purple to celebrate diversity and young people from the LGBTIQA+ community. The Day is organised by Wear it Purple, a student run, not-for-profit organisation, providing presentations and workshops.

To our community, we see you, we love you and we accept you just the way you are. # # #

Autism Consultancy Services is proud to announce our term 4 School Transition Program.
We have spaces available and would love to support your child to enter primary or secondary school feeling confident, and ready for their new challenge.
We will support you as parents to be ready for this big step, as well as ensuring the school has the knowledge and support they need for your child to be successful from day 1.
We are a Neuroaffirming team of dedicated specialist therapists devoted to the young people in our community.
Some of us even have our own ND diagnosis' - which means we REALLY do understand! 🧠🌈
