O'Brien Icehouse is a name known to many in Melbourne. A premium venue in the heart of Docklands, they host everything from the best birthday party in school to the AIHL league. π
They came to us looking to reposition as more than just an ice skating venue, but a premier destination for entertainment, offering memorable experiences, incredible customer service, and an accessible, warm community space.
Our goal? To increase brand awareness and generate higher levels of sales over an initial six-month period.
Our result? We expanded awareness of the brand and its offerings and increased customer engagement. The 2024 AIHL season saw a positive bump in sales, with impressions well over 110K, and an average reach of 43K.
How did we do it? Through a comprehensive brand refresh and targeted marketing strategy. We developed and implemented strong, branded content across seasonal campaigns and promotions, engaging in strategic partnerships and growing their organic and paid video content on TikTok and Instagram.

We're thrilled to share that we won a Good Design Award for Digital Interface for our work on PwC's Digital Trust Manager.
PwCβs Digital Trust Manager: Assess, is a self-assessment platform that determines an organisationβs maturity across key risk areas. We designed the platform to identify and provide recommendations to eliminate gaps in organisational maturity in line with industry standards and best practices.
The business landscape is constantly evolving, and risk with it. This platform collects, analyses, and shares critical risk assessment information allowing businesses to efficiently and quickly identify and respond to risk.
We have created a platform that allows users to smoothly assess and respond to threats to their business, combining an improved development process and strong, evolutionary design to ensure faster development time for consistent updates and future-proofing of the platform.

The innovative and future-focused MyDriveHero blends tech, gamification, and rewards to incentivise safe driving behaviours and create safer roads for all Australians.
They came to us wanting to create a better user experience and refresh their app to be more professional, with a higher-level design that more accurately reflected their brand values and mission. They wanted to rebrand and reposition from βKSafeβ, to focus more heavily on their mission to save lives through safer driving practices.
We faced two main challenges when developing this app.
The first? Creating a simplified user experience and strong user interface, balanced with gamification to incentivise drivers to improve their behaviours and subsequently enhance road safety while earning rewards.
The second? Creating a familiar user experience while introducing a new style, helping users build new habits and encouraging them to incorporate the app into their daily commuting routine.
Our gamified approach allows us to provide feedback to individuals on their driving in a positive manner, encouraging subtle behaviour modifications. We utilised visual codes most used in gaming to create a user-friendly, familiar interface employing playful, enjoyable designs and experiences that encourage continuous usage.
In under 12 months since the rebrand, MyDriveHero has had an incredible impact. Socially, it has seen an 18% increase in safe driving practices, with 20,000,000 km driven by over 62,000 users. Additionally, it has established 5 revenue streams, with a focus on revenue growth through continued user base expansion. Additionally, over $300,000 was raised in a Birchal campaign.

When they came to us to advance their Digital Trust Manager: Assess, we knew we needed to be meticulous in our research and strategy to design a πππ¨π©-ππ£-ππ‘ππ¨π¨ π₯π‘ππ©ππ€π§π’ ππ€π§ πͺπ¨ππ§π¨ π©πππ© π¬π€πͺπ‘π πππ«ππ£ππ π©ππππ§ π’ππ¨π¨ππ€π£ ππ£π π¨π©π§πππ’π‘ππ£π π©ππππ§ π₯π§π€πππ¨π¨ππ¨.
Our main challenge was incorporating complex sets of assessment matrices and varied question formats, resulting in the need for a range of infographic and analysis dashboards. Each assessment had multi-layered categories and lengthy question sets, meaning we needed to create an experience that continually engaged the user throughout the lengthy assessment process.
We implemented design, motion, and guides for development to ensure the platform aligned with not only the business objectives but also UI and UX best practices. The combination of UX with new, advanced components allowed for an efficient, user-friendly platform that encourages consistent usage.
The UI kit was designed with an evolutionary focus. By creating a malleable and future-focused UI kit, we have been able to provide the client, their internal creative team, and external partners with a platform and design that can evolve with the business, trends, and technology landscape while maintaining a strong and familiar connection with the brand.
Our primary focus was simplifying the assessment process while improving the communication hierarchy for an enhanced user flow. The business landscape is constantly evolving, and risk with it. This platform collects, analyses, and shares critical risk assessment information allowing businesses to efficiently and quickly identify and respond to risk.
Users can now more smoothly assess and respond to threats to their business, anticipating, mitigating, and managing risk from one central base, building trust for PwC, and their customers.

With the goal of promoting the new shades in an innovative, engaging, and effective way, we created a game and GIF for Benefit's EDM campaign that brought together the campaign's global imagery with their space theme within a short, nostalgic yet current, space-invaders style game. The game lets users choose a colour, play the game, and enter the draw to win a year's supply of BADgal BANG!
By gamifying the EDM experience, we enhanced the customer journey, aligning with the brand's mission of making makeup fun in a shareable, modern fashion that built upon their existing campaign.
The result? In just 4 weeks, the activity garnered over 9,000 leads!
