We are hiring!

Position: Front of house team member
Days: 4 days, including weekends

Heavens has become a hot spot where a lot of regulars are dropping in to pick up. Or the locals are ordering on UberEats, Menulog and Doordash.

You will be required to
- answer take orders over the phone, via the online platforms or even face to face
- be able to work under pressure
- Help carve pizzas, box them up and give them to the right customers
- help close up at the end of the night, that includes dishes, mopping etc.
- cash up at the end of the night and report back to management

RSA certificate would be handy to be able to serve alcohol but if not available we are happy to send you of to do the course.

2 days (Friday abs Saturday only)
Includes dishwashing, general cleaning and assisting staff

All positions must be available to work weekend shifts

Part time: Pizza Maker/ Kitchen Assistant
Approx 15 – 20 hrs per week

Here at Heaven, we take pizza making seriously and we are always pushing for the best results.
Looking after our store and the culinary work we do here is a labour of love.
We have a great team, keeping the restaurant in full operation throughout the Covid 19 pandemic.

We have been busy, so we are looking for a new pizza maker/ worker for our store on a part time basis.

The ideal candidate must be available between 3 to 4 nights a week, including weekends

They must also exhibit the following skills:

Basic pizza making skills + Hand stretching classic style dough
The ability to look after fridges and fridge stock
Can portion pizza ingredients consistently
Can perform basic cleaning duties and contribute to closing the store at night
Using POS systems (preferred) as we are a small team
Can take direction from manager/s on duty
Do dishes when necessary
Be observant and a fast learner
Be Able to assist colleagues where necessary
Punctuality

In addition, the following experience will be looked upon favourably

Previous kitchen hand work
Culinary training/ knife work, working with various food types
Woodfire oven cooking (we are a woodfire pizzeria)
Dough making and rolling
Stock preparation / organisation
Handling of cash

Having a current RSA or food handling certificate would be highly beneficial.
You must have Australian working rights.

Hard workers only, no egos.

 Punctuality and consistency

In addition, the following experience will be looked upon favourably
 Working with ordering devices (Uber eats/ menulog etc)
 Pizza carving
 Alcoholic beverage preparation
 Stock preparation / organisation
 Handling of cash

Looking for someone to Join our team at Heaven Woodfire Pizza in North Coburg

Person MUST HAVE experience in cooking in a wood fired oven and also have the knowledge and skills in making pizza.
Must be able to work weekends and work untill around 10-11pm at nights

Number of hours are depending on experience
