I love this analogy and it's a great thought to start the weekend with. 💜

You are holding a cup of coffee when someone comes along and bumps into you or shakes your arm, making you spill your coffee everywhere.
Why did you spill the coffee?
"Because someone bumped into me!!!"
Wrong answer.
You spilled the coffee because there was coffee in your cup.
Had there been tea in the cup, you would have spilled tea.
Whatever is inside the cup is what will spill out.
Therefore, when life comes along and shakes you (which WILL happen), whatever is inside you will come out. It's easy to fake it, until you get rattled.
So we have to ask ourselves... “what's in my cup?"
When life gets tough, what spills over?
Joy, gratitude, peace and humility?
Anger, bitterness, victim mentality and quitting tendencies?
Life provides the cup, YOU choose how to fill it.
Today let's work towards filling our cups with gratitude, forgiveness, joy, words of affirmation, resilience, positivity; and kindness, gentleness and love for others.

A bit short on time today to summarise and post about today's full moon energy so here is someone else's summary that I trust. 🌕 👍😘

The Full Moon in Capricorn is a good time for all of us who work too hard to take stock. Somewhat amusingly, it happens in the summer in the northern hemisphere – a time when people start to unwind and enjoy themselves. It’s a reminder to let it all go for at least a week or two with your family or friends if you can. In the southern hemisphere, as winter begins, it’s the perfect time to hibernate with your loved ones and think about your plans.

The reason the Full Moon in Capricorn is such a good time for this work/life balance reset is simple: At the time of the Full Moon, the Sun and Moon are on completely opposite sides of the sky. In this case, the Sun is in the sign of Cancer, while the Moon is in the sign of Capricorn.

Capricorn is the part of us that knows we need to build something during our lifetimes. It’s about our ambitions and what we want to achieve for however long we’re lucky to be alive.

In contrast, Cancer is the sign of home and family. It’s where we feel we belong. It’s our childhoods and what our lives are built upon. It’s looking after and nurturing ourselves and others. The opposition of the Sun and Moon at the time of the Full Moon brings about something of a tug‐of‐war between the two signs being activated. So, in this case, we get the homey and family‐oriented Cancer energies opposite the high‐achieving and ambitious Capricorn energies.

Winter Solstice

The Winter Solstice is considered to be the dark night of the soul. Spiritually, it's a time to honour both the light and darkness that resides within us all.
Write down on a piece of paper what you would like to let go of. Then burn this paper either by throwing it into a fire or by candle. Transforming the dark into light. After "letting go", state your intentions out loud for the season ahead, and that which you'd like to bring into your life.
Make some time to appreciate the natural and seasonal world. Take in the cool air and changes in the sky. And know that even on the darkest days, the sun is only a sunrise away.

DID YOU KNOW that Reiki also works on animals and plants?

Last year I took my beautiful dog Gypsy to the vet because of a blood blister like formation that kept getting larger on her eye. It was a Haemangioma like the picture below. The vet said she needed surgery but I wanted to treat it with Reiki before referring her to a surgeon.

After three Reiki treatments her eye was clear and healed.

This week I took Gypsy back to the vet for her annual check up and the vet was amazed that the Haemangioma was gone. She used the word miracle. 💜 (See pictures)

Bali is one of the places this gratitude and joy is evident and visible.

Most people here don't have much but for what they do have they are grateful and joyous and so appreciative of the smallest kindness. 💜

Whatever religion you follow, this period being the first Sunday after the spring equinox (northern hemisphere) is a time for us to celebrate triumph over tribulation. A time to see the light at the end of the tunnel. A period in which to reflect on the things that have not worked for you lately and to change that, to create something new for yourself. Plant a seed for a new idea or version of you and then fertilise and nourish it.

Easter for me is about new beginnings, creating, nurturing and lovingly moving forward with gratitude.

Full Moon Libra ♎️ Luna eclipse

Tonight is the Libra full moon with the Luna eclipse. The energies are running high with feelings of uncertainty that need to come to an end. Luna eclipses are all about endings to new beginnings. Being the full moon in libra is all about what needs to be released. What needs replacing. So end with grace and rejoice and embrace the new.
Libra is about relationships of love. Could be with yourself, family, friendships, love relationships. Whatever it is for you, it needs to end with a new beginning. These energies may bring feelings of fear, overthinking, sadness, anxiety, headaches, body aches, blurred vision, blocked ears and feelings of unease or sickness. Everyone may feel and react different to the energies based on where you are in your life but focus on the new and leave the old humbly behind you. The uneasy feelings will pass.
It's a period of highlighting relationships, not only personal relationships but relationships with ourselves and different aspects of our lives, work, government, technology. This is a time to expect truths to be revealed.

During full moons it's usual to set intentions and manifestations but with the Lunar eclipse, they say not to manifest or force situations but more to trust the process and go with the flow, so that the new beginning that is coming is met with grace, trust and understanding that change may need to happen.

Be honest with yourself and put You first.

I naturally nurture others but today I nurtured myself because as I tell my clients, nurturing the self is very important! 💜

I slept in, spent time in our garden, attended a local womens gathering (instead of facilitating one), did some journalling, took a long hot shower (I even body scrubbed, masked up and put a hair treatment in😯), bought myself a bunch of flowers and ate some chocolate. To top it off hubby made me dinner. ❤️

A day of Self-Love right there!

A big contributor to loving the Self is the way you speak and think to and about yourself, and yes these have an energy. How you talk to yourself is crucial. Are you harsh, critical and berating? Or are you gentle, understanding and loving? Try to work towards the latter.
The next time you put yourself down, quickly follow up with a loving thought. Saying "im an idiot" quickly turns into "I did my best, I know for next time." Or "I'm not worthy" turns into "bu****it I deserve love".

Give yourself a break and a hug! Over and over again. Follow up negative self talk with loving positive truths. Start believing that you are an amazing, powerful & creative spiritual Being! 🌟

Almost no sooner does June begin than we have the Full Moon in the sign of Sagittarius. As you may know, the Full Moon takes place when the Sun and the Moon are exactly opposite each other in the skies; in this case, the Sun is in Gemini and the Moon is in Sagittarius.

Some opposite signs really are opposites but with Gemini and Sagittarius, it’s almost as though they have more in common than they have differences. Gemini loves to chat, in a chatterbox kind of way, while Sagittarius loves to expound and give lots of speeches, sometimes with a good dash of hot air. Gemini is always on the move; Sagittarius is all about travel. Gemini has a good mind; Sagittarius has a big mind. As you can see, these two signs blend well, so the Full Moon in Sagittarius is less confronting that others.

This Full Moon takes place at the time of a rather exciting Mercury–Uranus connection followed by a pretty sexy Venus–Pluto alignment. All in all, there is heat!

Breaking it down: Mercury and Uranus add up to the possibility, among other things, of an amazing conversation, a brainwave, or suddenly waking up to smell the coffee. Meanwhile, Venus–Pluto is great for the kind of romance that goes way beyond the superficial but also for power struggles in love and finances.

All in all, be sure to make time for your Forgiveness and Release practice... and b‐r‐e‐a‐t‐h‐e!
