Contagious have featured ‘Find Your Drive’, an initiative we created for Toyota via Hero. Directed by Bec Pen*ston-Bird, it’s a special project that builds on Toyota’s purpose of Mobility For All by helping the 1.5 million adult Australians without a driver’s licence to overcome driving anxiety.

On this International Women’s Day, the women of AIRBAG ask that you consider supporting Djirra, a grassroots organisation working to support, protect and encourage women in crisis. 

They do this by providing legal and mental health services and representation, hosting workshops to help reconnect women to their community and culture as well as finding victims shelter and facilities.

You can support through donation online or can go and see the amazing work they’re doing in person by visiting the Koori Women’s place, a programme of Djirra. This is where all the practical, on the spot support happens and they rely on the generosity of organisations and community members, for practical and essential items such as clothing, toiletries and food relief. Toiletries are one of the hardest things to get support or funding for and yet are one of the main requests women often ask for when in need of support.

10 years ago this month, AIRBAG started work on its first Experiential Tech Brief.
This rough-hewn hunk of metal and wood was a part of the internal mechanism of that project: an interactive activation for the Dumb Ways to Die campaign, via McCann Melbourne. Rescued from Steven’s garage - it now has a new life as our doorbell at our new Studley Street digs.
It makes a jaunty, appropriately tram-like ding.

In the egg industry, there’s a broad ethical scope of the term ‘free range’. Farming methods can be quite inhumane, making it difficult for consumers to assess the well-being of the chickens. In order to demonstrate that the chickens at Honest Eggs Co. are genuinely free, we helped develop FitChix to monitor their step count and print it on their eggs.
