I’m moving through a weird time in my life. I’ve been hanging out in this liminal space for about a year and half now. What was is no longer. What will be has yet to come.
It’s been disarming and has forced me to make massive internal shifts in preparation for this next stage.
I love synchronicity. As I’ve been blindly navigating my way through this time of upheaval and reorganization, the universe has brought me exactly what I need at every moment to help me along the way.
I’m a part of this amazing group of female entrepreneurs,. Over the summer the group transitioned from being a local PNW thing to global and with that I was introduced to this magical woman in Australia, Melissa and her brand .
Melissa is truly a visionary and she created this magical course called Turning Points, a digital vision quest.
It’s been so inspiring and helpful for me to tap into my deeper sense of purpose and dream up this next version of my life. I’m obsessed and so excited to see where this vision quest leads me.
[3/3] With the Shadow as their guide, Eunice learns to embrace the different parts of their flawed self, and to acknowledge and accept the parts of themselves they have long denied or repressed. Here they realise the truth of The Doubt. Not an illness but a powerful ally on their journey of self-discovery, leading them to a deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them.
As Eunice integrates their shadow selves into their conscious awareness, they feel themselves shift into a more introspective and aware individual. It’s at this moment they discover the most spectacular wellspring of creativity and power. This wellspring is the true form of The Doubt, and is known by all beyond the border as The Catalyst. The Shadow presents Eunice with a small tear-shaped bottle to collect these magic waters.
As soon as they collect the waters, the shadow rises all around them. Higher and higher, until it sits over the sun to become an eclipse. At home, the people are filled with a deep sense of satisfaction they have never known. On this, their first eve, they speak long into the night. The most exquisite tears flow, a symbol of the nourishment that it is to know and be known.
If humanity leans deeply into the wisdom in the archetype of the shadow… 10 years from now, we’ll see a greater understanding and acceptance of our inner darkness, as well as a willingness to confront and transform it. This will lead to a more self-aware and introspective society, one that values authenticity and growth over superficiality and conformity. To be aware of the world is to first be aware of ourselves. To accept each other is to first accept ourselves. This work begins with the willingness to face the shadow before we can receive the gifts of growth it has to offer. By first reimagining our Shadow, we can catalyse growth of a new world.
(2/3) Upon meeting the Shadow, it simply and immediately departs into the darkness and mystery beyond. Feeling vulnerable, Eunice is frightened of what they might find in the shadows, but steps into the haze.
Together they venture deep into the darkness, facing their fears and confronting their deepest insecurities. Eunice discovers that the shadows hold not only their darkest impulses and desires, but also their greatest potential for growth and transformation.
As they journey ever deeper, they come across a treacherous cave filled with twisted and distorted shadows. The Doubt whispers in their ears, telling them they are not strong enough to face the darkness within. At first Eunice listens to The Doubt and begins to turn back. This is when they realise that to go back is to live the same unfulfilled life they have always known. They press on.

In a land where the sun never sets and shadows are banished, the people live in a state of constant light and happiness.
Over time, whispers arose that something was missing. The people began to feel restless and unfulfilled, but pushed these feelings aside for fear that they were cursed with a sickness known as "The Doubt."
Afraid of The Doubt, young Eunice sets off on a voyage to the edge of the world. Here, a mysterious figure who lives in the darkness beyond is rumoured to guide willing souls to receive the wisdom of the unknown.

Another round of wireframing for Prophecies today!
It’s been a hairy business design challenge that I’ve LOVED getting deep into.
The goal is a simple and intuitive experience. An app that’s a delight to use and easy from the first time.
Under the hood it’s a complex ecosystem that needs to bring together conflicting priorities.
There’s my business goals. There’s 3 segments with their own business goals. Then there’s where the app fits into those journeys.
How can 3 very different parties feel confident about their decisions, find what they need, and get their nuanced needs met?
What needs to happen to increase the match rate?
What analytics to inbuild, record and track so that I have the early data to improve that match rate?
How to make it possible to allow ideas to be bought and sold at scale when it’s not legally possible to buy or sell an idea? How to make it easy for creators to list an idea, feel confident it’s worth the effort, without having to patent it or build it in a business first? How to make it easy for buyers to explore due diligence, conduct capabilities analysis and be confident an idea is worth prioritising significant time and capital in? How to create successful idea matches between 3 sets of people who have extremely different language, understanding, problems, goals, and priorities?
How to balance the needs of global IP law, scalable and growth oriented financial models, tech capabilities with the specific requirements of what I know an innovation ecosystem needs to work? Staying aligned and unwaveable on the role I want Prophecies to play in the world doesn’t just simplify decision making, it’s also made it REALLY hard to work out what next when I’ve reached countless dead ends over the last decade.
Hearing the ideas from creators and dreams of the buyer groups has been exciting and humbling. I know they’re meant to come together. I know it’s been long overdue to be able to trade ideas at scale across the world. I know ideas are best shared.
And now I can really see the way forward. The complete functional prototype is done, I’m now fine tuning aesthetics and finer details ready to translate into code! Eeeeep!
True story from my earlier business in freelance design 🤣
Even if you love what you do, working mostly “in it” is a sure fire way to make it feel like work. A bit like making your favourite song an alarm.
Being able to nourish and expand your life in exciting new directions is an “on the business” task that isn’t just ‘more marketing’, another rebrand, or getting your emails to inbox zero.
On the business work is how you pivot from where you’re at today, to an influential future where you get to build on what works, leave what doesn’t and design yourself the most rewarding vehicle for your impact.

I’ve found a lot of fulfilment from the perspective of new beginnings. It seems to me that a new beginning is a state of mind available any time.

In my relationships it recognises that everyone I know is continually evolving, expanding – becoming new. The perspective of new beginnings comes with the joy of getting to know the new them that is emerging.
In my business it is the vantage point of play. Beginnings are free, exciting and full of possibility. Why not take that energy into every project, every day!?
There is a lot on my plate at the moment between writing strategy documents, consulting with my visionaries inside turning points, emerging trend research, and building Prophecies. I feel like I’m inbetween two big phases and what felt so certain and stable a month ago is not so clear now.
I can see the distant horizon, a few steps in front of me, and not much inbetween the two.
I’ve noticed lately some aspects of my work that were once effortless started feeling difficult and forced. A good time to take a step back and try new approaches. New beginnings.
There is freedom and peace from knowing and trusting that it’s been an exciting journey and clearly what’s next will be exciting too.
That’s the reward this perspective gives– freedom.
In my life, the perspective of new beginnings makes everything feel intentional, joyful and new. Every time gets to be the first time.
I’d love to know what you think of this?
It seems like such a small shift but I feel so much more accepting, relaxed and satisfied even though I have no idea what everything will look like a month or two from now! If I look back to a few years ago that type of uncertainty would have hit very different.

An unfocused business feels like:
