Tonight's Meal
We are excited to announce that Coburg Districts Football Club has been named a 2024 AFL
Women and Girls Charter Club .
The AFLW Vic Women and Girls' Charter is an initiative by the Australian Football League (AFL) in Victoria to promote gender equality and inclusivity in football. The charter aims to:
- Increase participation and opportunities for women and girls in football
- Create a supportive and inclusive environment for all
- Challenge gender stereotypes and biases
- Provide resources and programs to develop female talent and leadership
- Celebrate women's achievements and contributions to football
The charter is a significant step towards gender equality in sport, providing a framework for clubs, players, and the community to work together towards a more inclusive and diverse football culture.
CDFC has registered for the Toyota Good For Footy Raffle for 2024. This is a fantastic fundraiser as 100% of ticket sales goes directly to the club. By purchasing tickets you have a chance to win one of 3 brand new Toyotas. All proceeds supports the purchase of equipment and club improvement projects.
Please support our club and get behind this terrific fundraiser.

It is with great sadness that we inform the wider CDFC community of the passing of Life member Peter O'Shea.
Peter & his transport company, Austrans, were the clubs major sponsor for more than 20 years during our time in the WRFL.
Without Peter's support during the tough years we may never have become the thriving club we are today.
Peter will be sadly missed by his many friends at CDFC.
Condolences to Florence, Greg, Nickolas, Kelly & family.
Peter's Funeral will be held at Nelson Brothers
7 Droop St, Footscray on Wednesday 12th June at 10:30am.

🦁 WEEKEND RECAP 🦁
Saturday took a backseat with 3 Seniors teams on a BYE and only the under 18s playing away, and falling short of a win.
Although Sunday saw most Junior games played at home, it’s wet weather proved challenging for most of our teams. We snuck away with 3 wins on the day but overall a rough weekend for CDFC.

🦁 ROUND FIVE RECAP 🦁
The weekend started off poorly with all 4 Senior teams on Saturday taking some close losses.
The Senior Men recorded their third loss in a row, and the Senior Women saw their first loss and away game of the season.
Sunday perked up with the juniors bringing home all 5 wins of the weekend. With a mix of home and away games, it was beautiful to see all the fantastic mums spending their mother’s day cheering on and supporting their young ones.
Some of the mums even jumped into one of the junior girls training sessions during the week to celebrate!
This round also formed part of community umpiring week. Community Umpiring Week highlights the integral role umpires play at all levels of the game, encourages people to consider getting into umpiring and promotes the importance of respect for umpires.
