Today we are celebrating Caleb’s Life. So Tonight I will see you all at Brunswick South Primary School on 56 Brunswick Rd. Brunswick East @ 6.30pm for a Capoeira Roda, music, samba, food & more.
Please not wear a Capoeira uniform. Just wear very comfortable clothes so you can dance and play Capoeira.

Correcting the dates on the photo poster is wrong. Caleb passed away on 12/1/2014.

I would love to thank everyone for participating in and supporting our Festival da Bahia event 2023.

Capoeira Filhos da Bahia is closing the door of its school located in Collingwood, Melbourne, Australia. After 22 years, it is with great sadness that we had to take that decision. Along the years, the school has seen many students, kids turned adults, always maintaining that feeling of being among family when at the school.
We are now facing the challenge of finding a new location to keep sharing capoeira and Afro-Brazilian culture in Melbourne. It is going to be a tough journey and the pandemic recovery will be challenging. But our students and teacher make what we are and together we will rebuild again.
