We wanted to wish a huge congratulations to Daniel, Courtney and their amazing family for picking up this stunning Family Flair. This is the same van from the video we recently shared, which so many of you have contacted us about. In this design we have replaced one of the bunks with large draws enabling a huge amount of extra storage.

Yarrawonga was an absolute blast! We wanted to give a massive thanks to Caravan Industry Victoria who came down and gave an amazing talk on the future of the caravan industry.

We also wanted to thank all the companies that donated to our gala raffle and helped us raise a whopping $6,500 for the Mark Hughes Foundation along with everyone who came and made the night so special.

Imagine you are on a nice relaxing caravan trip in Tawonga when a terrifying category one hurricane suddenly roars towards you, destroying all in its path. Well that is exactly what happened to Glenn & Sharon Griffiths in January.. but things were about to get a lot worse.

As they huddled in their Designer Series listening to the howling of the wind, they began to hear another horrifying sound. Realising too late the peril they were in, it had become apparent one of the large trees towering over the caravan was about to fall. Wondering if this was the end, they braced for impact as the trunk came crashing down upon the roof!

Despite the weight and size of tree, Glen and Sharon were extremely lucky as the frame of their trusty Designer held firm, saving them from serious injury. Sadly as the caravan could not be recovered for 5 days the water damage was severe but upon retrieval, they were still amazingly able to tow it home.

In Glens Own Words:

"As you will see in the pics, the caravan took the impact of the tree plus 5 days under the weight with very little crushing or collapse...obviously a very strong build! After the tree was removed I towed the van back to Melbourne the chassis and suspension components undamaged..."
