NEST
NEST recently, celebrated the 2023 End Of Year Function on the rooftop of Fonda in Windsor!
The miserable weather didn’t dampen our spirits and a fantastic evening was had by all to top off another incredible year of serving our community!!!
Following on from our earlier post, concerning NEST’s support of the Jewish people in our local community, we wish to make a couple of clarifying points.
There has been some confusion over the visual depiction and sentiment of the copy that was used. We thank those who provided feedback on the post as well as those who privately messaged us.
Firstly, it should be absolutely clear that to the contrary of some people’s impression of the previous image used, NEST is in no way whatsoever antisemitic. Quite the contrary! Sorry also to those in the community who found the image somewhat triggering.
We also want to make it absolutely clear that NEST does not tolerate racial discrimination of any nature, including antisemitism, Islamophobia, or any other religious, cultural, ethnic, or gender related intolerance in any way shape or form and we welcome all members of our beautiful multicultural and multiethnic community to our clinic!
It just so happens that NEST has a significant number of Jewish patients who have recently been absolutely shaken to their core owing to the many race-related hate crimes directed at them in the streets surrounding our clinic. We felt that it was particularly important at this time for them to feel our unequivocal support. This support, however, most certainly does not come at the expense of NEST caring for all members of its community, regardless of their background.
I hope that clarifies our stance on racism to the satisfaction of our entire community!
May we see peace in all regions of the world in the very near future…
In the setting of an unprecedented surge in antisemitism that has echoes of the darkest times of humanity with the Holocaust, NEST wishes for its significant Jewish community to know that we stand with you. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE know you have the support of your NEST family…

Boundaries! A reminder that it’s ok to protect our energy and prioritise ourselves and our time ✨💖
Wise words! Gratitude is one of the pillars of resilience and harnessing it during difficult times is what helps get us through it! ✨💖
Not always easy to do but oh so liberating when we stop investing energy in what others think of us! ✨💖
This week saw the end of an era with the inimitable Annabel, finishing up with our reception team after more than six years.
She is going on to serve the community on a larger scale, and we are so proud of the remarkable person she has become!
I’m fine, it’s just….
Who can relate to this? 🤔 It’s so common for multiple variables to impact our wellbeing as we endeavour to juggle all the balls! Sometimes we need to pause and take stock of where we’re at and fit in what we need… which is usually a moment to breathe!
It really is about the simple things!! 😴☕️
Happy Mother’s Day from the team at NEST!! ✨💖

✨ Mindful Monday ✨
Let’s be mindful of how we think and view ourselves. Sometimes there’s an alternative way to frame our thoughts, especially when such thoughts are negative, counterproductive and don’t entirely reflect reality.
Reframing our thoughts to reflect more realistic appraisals of ourselves and our circumstances goes a long way to enhancing our mood and emotional wellbeing.
Happy new week everyone! 💗🌸
